No i'm referring to any half wit that drives slower that the sign posted speed limit, in the right lane which is clearly for overtaking, no matter what race they are.

I'm sorry if it offended anyone, it wasn't intended to and have changed it.

What I would like though is for Mags and I to be able to lye in bed without it turning into the whole family has to be there....??????

Having a new member join up last night to ask a particular question about the preload on the rear diff that he was fitting an ARB air locker too in his Nephews car and needed the settings.

Single post.

So being a good natured bloke I don't slam him for no intro as I figure he does not own the car and will never be a member here, I Download the GU manual to my iPad over dinner, trawl through the sections in the 1300page PDF as the pages don't work on the iPad, find all the info, take 4 screen shots of the pages he needs, swap over the MC and post a reply in his thread giving him everything he needs to know.

He joined at 6:20pm and I replied at about 6:45pm and he has not BOTHERED to come back to see or acknowledge the response.

Makes me question whether I will bother next time!!

Seriously Rude!

Just followed a bloke on the eastern with his LPG tank sagging heavily on the driver's side (under the tub mounted). It's as if it was hanging off rubber bands, bobbing up and down. It would have been an inch or 2 max, above tarmac each time it goes downward. Don't even want to know what would happen if that thing hits something, or the road @ 100km/h. At bulleen rd, exit I politely warned him about his potential issue. In return a received "f*** off and mind your own f'in business".
I wound wound the window back up, politely thinking to my self, I hope this thing does blow you to smithereens with an attitude like that.

Since oct last year been waiting for insurance company QBE to ok my next Operation, every time I ring they know nothing,
So I ring my surgeons rooms asking if info has been passed on, they say yes , QBE say NO, see the pattern forming here
Surgeons room say yes, QBE say no, funny as hey. so go see my Member for parliment to stick a cracker up them,
He dials QBE for me, [I could have dialled] hands me the phone proud as punch saying my "case manager" is on the phone.
Excited I say "hello who's this" He replies saying hes not my case manager as I dont have one and what do I want??
To this I ask if they have received info from my surgeon so they can pass it onto Work care, He says[QBE] no and surgeons rooms say yes.
Spit the dummy call the parliment guy an idiot and storm out. now its 8 months later and received the very same answer again today.
So lesson here is I dont know , First dont injure yourself you end up becoming a number instead of a person,
Its ok for these ppl they have jobs and wouldn't care if they helped 3 or 30 ppl a day. I injured my back on the 18-9-1991 in that time
not one person from the insurance company has rang to say how are things going or how can we help you better. ticked off F'ing oath I'm ticked off.
I want to get on with my life not wait around waiting for some clown in an office to dictate my future, rant over

Popped into Bunnings to get a section of plaster board and asked an elder team member who was in the middle of telling a story a question and he barely answered me then turned his back to me to continue his story.....

The other team member saw I was pissed with this weak excuse for service and started to try and save the situation but to late by then I was pissed off and off to try and sort my problem myself.

I have spent a small fortune in that place lately and rarely ever ask for help.

Going into work this morning only to find all my vid fill that I use for packaging all used up by the night shift

Our manager expects us to take the extra time to protect the fragile products we send out but can't organise for our packing material to arrive before we run out.

He said it wasn't his fault this time, but its a common occurrence we always run out of boxes and packing material

Pretty said when you company runs out of logo's boxes and you have to raid boxes off the shelf that the products come in just so you can send a order out to the customer.

I need a new job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

And don't get me started on sales reps! Had one in today who said he was going to give us some training on his products, I said no sorry were too busy but come back and we will do it another time, my manager comes out and says no this will be good lets do it. Meanwhile I've got the ute loaded ready to deliver to waiting customers and I've got a crap load of quotes pending on my desk but I'm expected to listen to sales reps? Bull crap!

I'm normally pretty placid but what effs me off is people who bludge money, smokes, etc. (not talking about your mates but randoms) that tell me their mum was picking them up but she's in hospital and they need 5 bucks to get a train to see them. Had a go at a guy yesterday calling BS on it and he wanted to have a swing. So I asked him to step onto the footpath to discuss (was at the Grand Central in Brisbane) and then he has his swing, I silence him and then he cries that I'm a white see you next Tuesday hits me again and does the bolt. So if I run him down I'm a vigilante and racist - but he's a minority who deserves my understanding and respect? And then half an hour later I've got 15 of his mates who call me out to have another discussion. Luckily I had 4 mates who were up for a discussion and when we decided to have a round table the opposing party saw the futility of their ways and departed but not without some colourful, but incomprehensible, retorts. Since this is a family friendly forum you'll need to read between the lines here - but let me suggest that the 5 minding their own business got to continue their catchup - and the 15 friends of friends are suffering some bruising in the watch house. I am not, and never will be intimidated by the fact someone may have a knife, gun, bat, 15 cousins or brothers. The day decent society backs down we lose. And sure - that may not be sensible - but I'll be damned if I back down to the lesser elements of society. If they want to roll, I'll roll when needed. Living in fear of society is what those who want you to fear need, feed off and use to intimidate. I for one won't be party to that.

Just returned from NZ where diesel is 60 Cents a litre cheaper ...... and how does that make sense here in Aus .......

Now that as of this week my Patrol is a daily driver (:animierte-smilies-f) I have the road tyres on, and when I wanna go on a little fourby session I have to swap them over. So I can't really do it at the drop of the hat I kinda have to plan it.
There's a group of guys going out tonight that I've been out with a few times and I can't go because I've got my road tyres on. My next tyres are going to be KM2s and they will be worn all the time!

This story has really peed me off too, that's a crossing I've done many times and is a place I frequented before the fire damage. What made it even worse is that THE PLACE IS CLOSED OFF due to fire damage! I hope he gets the recovery bill, his insurance will not cover him as he is not allowed to be there. Helicopter bills aren't cheap!
I know a bloke who broke through the gate locking off the area and camped at Little O'Tooles for the long weekend..... he said every camp site was full by the end of the weekend. He got fines for all types of things by park rangers

I really have a major dislike for a particular Perth cab driver and company right now..... the missus was on a works night out, so obviously had a few drinks and truth be known had a few too many, anyway she got a cab form Subiaco, coming along the Graham Farmer freeway, she said to the driver can you please pull over, I think I might spew. So he pulls over on the Belmont Race Course intersection, she gets out of the car, she spews, he gets out of the car and accuses her of soiling his car (and admittedly I can only go by what she tells me but............ ), he orders her to pay him $20, then he get back in the car and fecks off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leaving her stranded after midnight...... she calls me to let me know what's happened but im too far gone (drunk) to drive especially with 3 kids in tow...... luckily, might say very luckily a car with 2 young girls stop and ask if she's OK and end up giving the missus a lift home.

Needless to say, I am feckin livid, unfortunately the missus didn't get the drivers number or rego number......... but I've been on the phone to the cab company to voice my opinion, oddly enough they reckon they're not able to tell which cabby was at the taxi rank at the time she caught a cab, have also been in touch with main roads WA, to see if they could get CC TV coverage (would you believe not all of the so called cameras are actually in operation). I asked the cabinet about their onboard cameras that they have on cabs now now, they tell me that is a department of transport thing and only they have access.......... I,m fuelled by a few beers and a bottle of vodka, so that probably doesn't help the situation but I tell you what.... if I ever find the prick, I won't be leaving him by the side of the road......... I'll be dragging him by my bastard snatch strap!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be Pissed off by that, what a a$$hole of a driver.
Leaving a lady stranded like that, especially when she has had a few is bloody irresponsible and dangerous for her.
I would keep at them and make sure she gets an apology, they would be able to tell who it was if they really want to.
Even if she did soil his car he is not allowed to leave her stranded.
If you don't get some sort of satisfaction shame them and give them bad advertising.
I know its not the company but the driver but they have to be responsible for their drivers.

Not dump you half way there because you were sick..

That is disgusting I would class that as child abuse as the p&$)? Used the poor thing as a weapon in his own vindication plot. Just keep all those things stored up and dated man you will be able to use it against him especially seeing as the poor girl didn't want to go with him.

It is disgusting, and not the first thing he's done. I could write a book and some of the things will make your skin crawl. But I won't go there.

The good thing though is my step daughter calls me her special daddy, and when I ask her what about her real dad she says "he's not special".

We are concerned about that. Have had her to counselling sessions to talk about things and she knows what's right and wrong. She doesn't care about him.
Last year when I was away in the Middle East, dickhead showed up at our door to pick up his daughter, and abused the absolute crap out of my wife. Luckily she had friends over because my wife thought he was going to get physical. But he took his daughter away, she was kicking and screaming in the car, so he said to her(and I quote because she wrote it down and signed it and gave it to the cops when my wife filed for an avo), "if you don't shut the f#%k up, I will fist your arse hole". But sadly, this is yet just another of many sad occurrences she has put up with.
Another time, when the idiot came to drop his daughter off, me and my wife were at the hospital because my poor wife felt like she was about to have her baby(prematurely), so I waited at the front of the hospital for dickhead to arrive and when he did, he put on a great show, stood a foot from my face and just let loose. He said that he does everything he can to make his daughter happy, I ofcourse questioned this because his daughter was in the car watching all of this in horror. He told me he did it because he had to.
I only hate one person in this world, and I'm sure you can guess who.

I had a client that had a Very unusual problem that they hoped my company could solve. I visited them the week before christmas and advised them that they had a completely different problem and the company that i work for could not help. I advised that it was a fairly easy job to do if you knew how to do it, told them how to do it and suggested they ask their son in law or adult kids to get it done. I was in business clothes and could not help.

They called me and asked whether i knew anyone that could do it....... I said well yes i could do it. On Christmas Eve, in 42 degrees, slogged away jacking up their verandah slab and footings. came up a treat. cost me my time and hire of 5 20ton jacks.

Ol' mate decided that i had done it easily and then did not want to pay the pre-agreed price. I suggested that he should have got his son to do it. I would have told him how to do it over the phone. It was a Slog of a Job. crawling in there for 7 hours. (I work at a desk normally) on Christmas Eve in 42 degrees, the day before had been 47!. I only did the job to fund my Christmas Holidays with my Family.

I got paid and had a good holiday! He sat on his new concrete Deck that had not looked so good for 18 years and his Kids got to do nothing.

Merry Christmas.

Alloy ones are crap. The Rope just cuts a trench in them. I have junked 2. I will replace my next one with a Stainless Steal one. Maybe from Bidders or see if Kallen can make them.?? Or 3D? do you work much with Stainless mate?

I'd rather that than the position I'm getting into.

What was you doing?

And if it makes you feel better i maybe in the same position but I don't have qualifications and there is no work where I live or in storeperson where I have been! And to top it off centrelink won't give me money as they reckon that I had been paid out too much to which that money is gone and the bills are piling up! But I not worrying cause as long as I got my family my dog it be all good!

He was a dog, didn't even look at me when he was speaking to me let alone when i spoke, thats what peed me off the most. I know i was over, i didn't deny it and was being polite and this prick just said " gimme your license, your getting a fine!" Walked off came back a couple of mins later told me the amount of the fine and i had 6 weeks to pay. He then pulled up another car 100m down the rd.....
