You left yourself wide open for that, Pajera have never been good as a 4x4 from the

Patrols and the FJ55, the FJ55 is another story altogether lol

Its just a waste of time and money to operate where there is no pain.
There is another procedure called rfds or similar where they insert a

So at the start of the year i was excited to take delivery of a Brand New Car. First time ive brought brand new and have to say that my Hyundai SantaFe is the nicest car i have ever owned. By Allot!.

At 10,000kms on the clock about 9 weeks ago this young lady did a Right hand turn in front of me and i cleaned her up. Pissed! Really PISSED at the time. Car got towed and i got a Hire car. they gave me a Kia Optima. the Kia is Nothing on the Hyundai!

9 Weeks! 9 Farking Weeks! i have been driving this Kia!! The wife is furious! Turns out that during the Sydney Storms 9 farking weeks ago The Hyundai Spare parts factory roof collapsed (you might have seen the vision on the News) 9 Farking Weeks i have driven this kia waiting for a Front Bumper bar for a 2015 Hyundai Santafe!! No Sh1t. The repairer has nearly had my new car longer than i have!!

Well the car hire has been extended 4 times and i called Wednesday to be told it would be ready Friday. TODAY. I didnt tell the wife. Surprise! Cant wait! i have planned to go for a drive around the bay with the family this Long Weekend and enjoy the car.

Called up at 4pm to confirm the car is ready before heading out the door. "Sorry Sir, we have a problem, 1 of the front parking sensors is tripping an error that we cant clear" "The auto Elec has not been able to clear the fault either, we are waiting on advice from Hyundai, you wont get your car today!" "Mate! Really! The wife will be Pissed!" "cant believe it mate, i was heading away for the long weekend! your telling me my car wont be ready!" "Yeah sorry mate, we have some cars that take 8 months......" Not what i want to hear!

Called the Insurance company, Shattered!, i have extended the hire another week, They called the repairer and were advised my car could be another week. I asked them for a better car to take the family away in as the hire car is not what i expected to drive for 9 WEEKS! He made a few calls trying to get me an upgrade but all SUVs have been hired out for the LONG WEEKEND!

Filthy! Rant Over!

Take the GUIV? Yes i will. Compare the GUIV to the Hyundai SantaFe Highlander for On Road Touring...........No I wont! Not even in the same race. The Hyundai would compare to the Y62 for comfort and cruising. Amazing car! Oh yeah.....7.2lt/100kms from the CRD2.2TD and sh1t off a shovel power!!. Cant believe its still in the shop!

Lost fuel cards, led torch, rescue knife, glass breaker pen, pack of smokes, lighter and a few other bits but left the stereo, uhf radio, spare change and other bits that would normally be taken.

Have a funny feeling it may be a junkie neighbour but can't prove it.

For the last 12 months it's been a nightmare getting him to sleep and staying asleep and it's because of our tiny house with the bedrooms right beside the tiny living room/ kitchen.

We cannot continue like this nor bring a family up in this little cottage!!!

Decisions!!!

Sell up and find a place that's bigger or get in more debt and extend over balcony to create a better bathroom for us (shoe box bathroom) and a better living area away from the bedrooms.

You love the location and are now 2 minutes from work so it would make sense doing an extension. You might have to have a look into costs as it might be better doing a knockdown and rebuild. Hmmm spacious new home ...ooh yeah! :)

depends on how much extra an extension will add to the price of your place it would make a big difference for a family with older kids as we have zero room in the house for kids to play or watch tv in peace.

Have complained to the rental manager and he has been given 60 days to move out so I think he will make the most of it. Funny this isn't a bad place to live it was very quiet until he moved in 6 months ago now it's like living fukin hell everyday

moved the roof rack forward about 10mm , no gutter damage thankfully as I put some inner tube there.
It was a basic structure but force broke a piece of 1"1/4 x 6" timber. I'll now replace it and the rest with
50mm x 50mm gal RHS. That will give me 100mm extra clearance.

It's first in best dressed where I work and only 2 out of around 10 people ( not including about 4 other people that help out when we are busy ) are aloud off at the same time in our section.

I was not planning to take xmas holidays but my parents that are the only ones that mind the children when needed will be away on holidays then so needed to put in for 3 weeks but 3 people are already off. How 3 people got approved when only 2 are aloud it off bets me, they seem to bend the rules when it suits them.

Oh well, gunna have 2 fork out money for camp or a child minding service, might not as well work as that's were half my pay will end up going. Wonder if I will get the sack for taking 3 weeks sick leave..... cough cough I'm feeling sick well in advance *L*

We did use 2 have around half off during xmas but they got hammered a few years ago and had to pay out a heap in overtime to catch up so they canned that idea :(

You idiot, negotiate better next time!!

I can't complain too much, they gave me a company vehicle with fuel card a year ago and when the lease was up they gave me a big pay rise to compensate for not having a vehicle.
Now they've given me another car and haven't taken away the pay so I'm doing alright.

Oops gotta go, meeting time! bwahaha

We got screwed over on our last EBA.
.5%, .5% and 2% per year and we lost one day a fortnight and now have capped redundancy. Been bad here for the last 6 years, but they won't make the tough call. I'm happy to go if they pay me out.

That's a shame. I use them and think they're great.

They are just as shit as everyone else, they just went on what their book says my ute is worth (which is low to begin with), and put on a bit extra for all modifications....... real modifications, not just accessories came to a value I would be hard pressed to even replace the ute with another if something happen to mine. Let alone modify it again
I wasn't asking for an outrageous value either.... not even close to what has been spent getting it to where it is. I just thought going through an insurance mob who "understands car enthuiasts and their passion" would be a little more understanding,
