Clunk I'm just on one year without a smoke, can't say I feel better but must have saved something as I was 50 plus a day easy.
Don't give two hoots about smokes now.

Not angry but ticked off just got results from tests on my wrists seem I now have Carphal Tunnel Syndrome Why f"ing not I say
just add it to the list I'll deal with it later. Doc wants to inject my wrists, yeah that's gunna happen. So far fingers are numb so very annoying
more so one hand than the other, it feels like your tendons aren't long enough for your hands/arms, hey but I don't smoke any more

What has really pissed me off today is the total lack of care taken by our local (ex now) doctor/s. Wife has been crook for the past week with what we were told was a virus by a new doctor who didn't know my wife's medical history.

We found out ourselves that what she was actually experiencing we're withdrawal symptoms from medication she had been prescribed, for years, but now felt she no longer needed.

The effects of sudden withdrawal can be catastrophic, yet we were never advised that there were any dangers or procedures to follow when stopping the medication!

Called the new docs tonight, had a good chat that put my wife at ease, a little, and will be seeing them tomorrow to organize a proper regime to wean her off the medication.

If they're skinny and drinking tea then they really don't have much to live for anyway, so they should be thankful the smokers have put them out of their misery ;)

Produces thyroxine (http://www.yourhormones.info/hormones/thyroxine.aspx).

Hyperthyroidism (or Thyrotoxicosis) (too much thyroxine/ over active thyroid ) most noticeable effect is 'bulgy eyes, ......Marty Feldman syndrome. Not sure how it's treated.

Hypothyroidism (too little) can mimic depression.

Main reason I post is because a family friend, many years ago committed suicide because of apparent depression in between the time her blood test was done & the results came back showing she had hypothyroidism. It is treated with thyroxine tablets. As an ex psych nurse, I reckon everyone who suffers depression should have a blood test to exclude hypothyroidism, especially as it's so easily treated.

My wife was recently told her thyroid levels were slightly low, possibly a menopause thing.

Nope - the 2 big black tubs full of gear / tools were stolen outta back of Brads ute last night ...

Sent from Sharen's iPhone using Tapatalk ....

That's $&@!ed. I know when Sharee had the space case full of gear stolen off of her ute the insurance wouldn't cover anything on the tray (aami). We lucked out and cos it was parked at the parents when it happened we got it under their house insurance. I think we need to bait them and stake out.

Wtf that's just wrong, time for a set up as Newby says. need to stop these low lifes.
At least you may get some gear back, courts won't lock them up, guy came around our
, place last month and took to a VT commodore my son was doing up with an iron bar, all cops did was take
a statement, the system today sucks big time, good luck with it Shaz

Yeah - tried that but because we were honest and said it was parked on the street (in the same spot Frank was stolen from) they said a big fat NO

Cops showed up at his work today to print the tray etx cuz they would've had to climb up in Amelia to get them out. They got a couple of prints but could be Brads or mine for that matter - fingers crossed

Snap on tools pricing :(. Good stuff but I think a tad expensive although it does come with a lifetime warranty.

93patrol
7th August 2013, 10:02 PM
Yeah but doesn't sidchrome, king chrome and repco(cough cough) also come with life time warranties as well

Snap on is too over priced for what it is the only good thing is that they drive around to your place of work and can do payment plans

Got a toolbox full of Snap on 45 years worth. Great trade tools great warranty and don`t think of borrowing them.
One bloke tried and got a broken hand when I slammed the toolbox lid on it . Should have asked before putting his hand in there

Sidcrome used to. Well I know for a fact the current range hasn't as I had a 18year old sidcrome 17mm r/oe spanner that broke. I took it back to Repco about a month ago and they just swapped it over straight away. I was told the current range of sidcrome doesn't have lifetime on it anymore.
As for Kincrome? I believe its their Professional range only that has the lifetime coverage.

Putting the last tack on the tray sides and getting it square so I can tack it properly so I can take it off to weld, when I lost my grip on the bar, as I was trying to hold in in place whilst holding the mig gun and a tape measure. The side rail twisted which shifted the head stock just enough to slide off its prop, that in turn broke the tack on the opposite front corner then the other side rail fell down twisting the back rail. Now I have to put the head stock back on, grind off the old tacks, centre it and square and do do it all over again. So fork it I will wait utill my mates are free to come over and help, which is also a bit difficult as all my mates are either shift workers or fifo/dido...........C$#T :furious:
