Exhaust is on...
Ow baby sweet Jesus it's nice..
Engine is still louder which is wicked. Not the note I was expecting but it is only a 4 pop engine..
But loving the turbo spool up and flutter off the throttle..

Mrs away. Landscaping all day. Nothing to eat since last night. Now packing up. Happy? Yep.
BUT WAIT THERES MORE.
Just decided im going to walk down to the pub, smash a big juicy steak, chips mash and gravy, smash even more beers and lose some money on the races. Happy? Fuggenoath!!
So I'm home. Steak was 8/10. No scotchy or mash for bar meals so had to go the porterhouse and chips plus veg, gravy and buttered bread roll. Not bad at all even if it wasn't what i was dreaming of. Beers flowed well and the punt was up and down. Overall spent $90 on grub, beer and horses/dogs. And the bourbon traveller for the walk home went down a treat! Was a good night! Got home without getting mugged too which is always a bonus!

No! we plan to enter the Simpson via Walkers / Warburton Crossing's, it wont dry out in time, bugger.
It now looks like we will have to find another way to Mount Dare which is not a great problem and could add to the adventure.
The big bonus is the desert is going to be green and flowers should be on display, looking forward to seeing that.

The falcon has been trouble free for about 10 months now..
Today I took the patrol to make sure it's all sweet for the weekend..
The falcon won't start..

Well it did, and got them to child care but when she went to start it again it only ticked..
So I'd say a simple thing like loose terminal, but still..

No happy ending i take it from that nurse? Lol.
I just found a new dentist. Indian bloke. I was a bit skeptical at first, as i could barely understand him. But his work was really good, had to drill right through a shattered tooth, pin it, and then make up over half a tooth.
I thought this was gonna be real expensive and hurt like hell. Well the needle in the roof of my mouth i had hurt, and for a few hours after too but i only paid $240.
Happy with that.
They even rang me last week to follow up on how the new tooth is going and if i had any pain.

I finally drove the GQ properly today, it's been killing me her sitting in the driveway and me being too crook to drive it. EGTs sit about 200-210 at 100km/h on the freeway. Now that's a safe tune!

As in torque? I haven't asked. I've pretty well been in bed since I picked her up haha. I want to take it for a scoot up the Hume to see how it goes now.
I think I'm due for a clutch. I think I can feel it slipping in 4th when giving it large amounts of berries. I have an Exedy HD but it must not be enough. I'm thinking an NPC 6x6?

What pump do you have currently? I'm so keen for the meet up so I can take her for a spin through Christmas hills with the roof top tent on.
My old pump and injectors were leaking and letting air in. It's so nice not having to hand prime it every time I start it now!

I've got a GU 11mm compensated pump but yeah it's worn out so it's not working that well. It leaks air too and I have to prime it every day.

It's very frustrating isn't it.. I wasn't sure what my problem was. I tightened all the fuel lines, injectors etc. I guess it came down to one of those two as it's fixed now. I'd say it would have been the pump as I could hear a sound coming from it every time I pressed the plunger.
Who are you going to get to upgrade your pump?

From a bloke up in QLD, it is who Nissan Newby uses for pumps, it will be an exchange pump. Looks like I am going to have to wait to get my tax back before I order it now though, and then it will be a few weeks from then.
I wanted to have it before the Licola trip but that won't happen now.

Yeah i was looking at the RV tents. So me and the family could just do overnighters easily enough. But then i thought we will need to haul mattresses x 4 and bedding and this would pretty much take up all room on and in the car.
So i think i will just get another double swag. Two swags with bedding rolled up on the roof will be easier i reckon.

Well think of it this way. OZtent on roof rack. (Can't notice it) And then all the sleeping bags and matressed would take up as much room or less as all your swags ??? But oztent would be far cozier and simpler. IMO.
I used to Swag it all the time and then.... I got the Oztent. Swag's been garaged ever since. Takes me 1/10th of time to set up compared to the swag. I just like it, as you can stand up get dressed out of the weather. And then theres the myriad of options for it to suit... Tagalong tent etc...
I used to just matress it on the floor and sleep like that but thought it'd get a stretcher to sleep off the ground this time.
Love my Oztent!!

Swags on the roof with all the sleeping gear in them is less room than the RV and then having to pack sleeping gear aswell.
Two swags on the roof rack is quick. Trying to keep what i take to a minimum.

Have you seen the size of the bag the oztent packs into? Far smaller than my single dome ARB swag! Albeit a bit longer and heavier. (around18kg all up).
Anytime you wanna try it out just come and grab it, more then welcome to borrow it and test it out for a weekend or something.

I used the rv5 at Andy's with 4 people. We had the tent, 4x mattresses and 4x sleeping bags and had an awning extended n front of the tent.
Personally if I go by myself I'd go a swag anyday. but with the family the RV was about 5minutes total setup...winner imo
Room wise I reckon would be th same as 4 swags or 2 singles and a double.
We're doing Fraser in 4 weeks and RV it is:)

Remember i also need to drag four mattresses and all sleeping gear too. It all adds up.The swag i just roll up and everything is in the swag.

there's 2 whte plastic washer/clip type things that fit onto the central shaft which keep it fixed into the base, it would appear that they have a habit of breaking, so when you turn the tap on above a certain pressure, the top half gets blown out

The first, FPS, or first person shooter type movie. Saw the trailer early last year and have been patiently waiting... I play Battlefield 4 a lot. Its an online FPS modern warfare game. So I'm kinda into this stuff....

What vpn (or other service) are you using to change region? I had unblockUS for ages and it no longer works. American Netflix is way better then Australian.

Netflix is pushing back..
Blocking huge numbers of vpns so the one we use is battling..
It's a payed VPN and they just had 20 servers knocked over..
So hopefully there up to the task..

A bit of progress on my shed project.
All the electrical work was completed yesterday.
Mezzanine floor is laid.
Cladding the outer walls should get finished tomorrow.
