Guy at work has order an awning last week and was asking me if I knew what they're like in delivering times. I laughed and said you may be a lucky one and get it soon, but some have waited weeks on end.

Don't. The boss will shoot me.
Id love a road bike but i know i would end up in a wooden box on the first ride. Hence why i stop riding trail bikes. But im older, not wiser though, a lot less fitter than before and i still have the bone aches from those trees jumping out in front of me.

Fracking has been banned in Victoria!!. Bloody great news for us as our town water supply is from aquifers that would have been at risk.

After waiting 25 years our mcc prelim membership has come through!

Another 12 months we'll have full MCC membership.

Ahh, I can smell the musky carpet and oak from here, Long Room look out.

That's about right. My Dad enrolled me when I was born. I think I was offered membership in my early 20s, at that age I didn't want it and said no thanks.

It was a very hard pill to swallow, but I could find it any cheaper anywhere, I was constantly watching eBay, bumtree and the like with no luck, and I was so sick of climbing up to access the fridge. I will try, to make a cage for it now. Their $450 price tag for the cage is insane. Much like the slide. Lol.

Scored this from work today, it didn't work and the bloke who owned it was going to throw it out. I took it home and had a look over it, it had a small crack in the PCB which went over 2 wires on the board. I had a go at throwing in a bridge wire and voila, reassembled it and it worked!! Bloody stoked! It was some if my finest soldering lol hopefully it holds up.

Well done Nic. Its amazing what some people throw out hey. I scored years back a Dell 24inch monitor from someones nature strip. I was driving past and seen them put it out. I stopped and ask why, it ain't working no longer. He said I was good to take it so I did. Came with the power cable still plugged in it. Got it home, plugged it in and sure enough, nothing. Switched power cables over and it worked! sold it for $300 a week later! Lol.

The care and compassion from the members of this forum truly astounds me.
I have had several messages and phone calls checking in on my pregnant partner who has been sick in hospital and myself.
I'm sorry I did not post anything sooner but I got to take Amy home from the hospital yesterday lunch time. She has just had severe asthma which is under control now. She is still sick but resting up and doing okay.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and well wishes.

Well we have one very lucky mother gents!

Poor mum has been in hospital for a few days with influenza and with her chronic asthma it got pretty bad.

5am this morning she had bad chest pains and heart racing.

After some tests today it was found she has blood clotting and the heart wasn't pumping blood properly, pooling, etc.

The doctors say it was only a matter of time until a stroke and if it wasn't for the flu for her to come in we wouldn't have ever known!!!

Apparently she has been like this for years and has always been short of breath but put it down to her asthma but she was wrong.

How lucky are we, the flu has saved mums life, happy days!!!

Yeah wow. Thats like my mum. She had to have open heart surgery as a dentist, yes a dentist diagnosed her with the same heart condition that what killed John Ilhan, the Crazy Johns bloke. Aparently my mum had extra bleeding from her gums than usual after getting a tooth pulled. The dentist knew this was not normal and told my mum to go to the quacks asap. Two days later she was under the knife.

Gotta bit of mucking around to do for the first week, then I'm off to the beach for 3. Missus has to stay home, unfortunately, due to her back injury.

I've got every safety plan known to man in place, even organized VKS737 for weather updates. lol.

Just got to visit the auto electricians before I go. My young bloke's warranty work ran out, so now it's time to get stuff fixed properly. lol.

I need some re-wiring done and 7 rocker switches installed.

If you want to call me on my HF radio, via VKS, selcal 3748 - about lunch time. If I'm not fishing, I'll call you back - as long as your radio is on 'scan'.

Take care out there.

I treated my gearsticks to new plastic and new leather to replace the 'holey' one which used to be the home of all my switches.

Apart from needing a clean, I'm really happy, but it cost me $145. Boy, are spare parts expensive - but I needed it. lol.

Finally got a ride on mower that will do the job properly. Its an old Rover Rancher paid I $200 for but I smashed the old deck on hidden tree stump last week. I bought a brand new single blade Cox deck and modified it to fit. Should go for a few more years without problems.

Moving in with the in-laws about 1 km away. Easier for the kids with school and sports, going to help them out a bit by taking over the bills for a while. Place we brought is in a Melton West.. I nice part of Melton. People we brought it from are happy to rent for 6-12 months while they build. Win win for everyone.

Can't bloody wait tho.
Outdoor kitchen electric stove, BBQ spit and pizza oven.

And a proper pool..

I hope that fish memory doesn't affect the way your going to install that engine.lol

Absolutely flogged my guts outs over the last few days, and after Saturdays 30mm we copped to get the house ready for todays photos.
Well it has paid off and did everything. A few late nights were involved. No sooner did the photographer leave today, i was into it digging the trench for the plumber.
Happy camper right now. Until we get another 30mm...

Have finally completely finished moving. Hand keys in on Thursday and put close to this chapter....

Feel a little on the sad side as this was built to last us for many more years, a lot of sweat and even more tears went into this place, even took me to a very dark place that I don't what to go back to, ever...

So HAPPY to put the last 10 years behind us and move forward.

Had a hell of a wobble in the pootrol for months, many wheel balances, panhard bushes, shims, swear words and beers later, the Bridgestone tyre dealer in Deeragun Townsville got it sorted. Apparently one side of the wheel needed mega amounts of weight to offset the other on the balance, they rotated the tyre on the rim put minimal weight back on and no more wobble. Best day ever. :driving2::smiley_thumbs_up::smiley_thumbs_up::smi ley_thumbs_up::smiley_thumbs_up:
