Finally got a date for the Discogram to be done on my back, it's not until the 15th of April but at least it's a start and should hopefully be the last of the tests and find out what the hell is going on and get it fixed.
Good stuff OD hope they find the problem.

Was cheaper here due to a price war but has now settled out to somewhat normal.
Read a funny fact the other day.
The price of oil and the Aus dollar is similar to what it was some 10 years ago.
Yet petrol prices are close to 50c a liter more today.

And when the prices soared a barrel was 250usd now its half that and the price is still up
Ive given up on how they work it out, USA spring break , singapore prices, they have all the answers

Mine is now 500 Gig but you could prev double your monthly limit 3 times a year for no extra cost anyway.
The double up is to reduce erosion of customer base to iiNet or Optus for netflix.
Netflix on Bigpond will still be metered (unlike iiNet/Optus) but by doubling the monthly data limit a lot of people won't care about useage.
People who want cheap internet have already bailed from Bigpond ages ago anyway and most Bigpond custs are usually bundlers who won't switch if they don't need too.
Does make you wonder how cheap the cost of data would be if it was even more competitive (or how much we were gouged in the past).
A few ISP's are offering unlimited data for not much at all

Soooo....
I had an irritating 'couple of drops a day on the driveway' power steering fluid leak I'd been putting off fixing for aaaages
Went to change the power steering pump 'cause I thought it was leaking.
Brunny Diesel had expressed me up a replacement and told me it was an easy peasy job.
It probably is if you don't have onboard air.
Anyway... once all attempts at further procrastination proved fruitless I armed myself with jacks, axle stands, drain pans etc etc to get stuck in.
So, applying my years of experience which has taught me always do the hardest connection/bolt/stud first I took off the rubber flap in the LH guard to get at the connection for the fluid supply hose to the Pump from the remote Res.
It should be noted this connection is slightly harder to get at than the #3 Main Bearing with the sump still on.
Lo and Behold, loose jubilee clamp.
Tightened the clamp, stopped the fluid leak, Brunny gave me a full refund on the pump... Good as Gold

I reckon a lot of telstra customers are in the same situation as me.
-very few other providers reach my area.
-It's classified as "rural" even though it's very close to "suburban" areas meaning that all the cool cheap deals you see on tv are not applicable.
I investigated the options I had before signing up with telstra and although telstra appeared worse on face value, it was far better and cheaper than the few other providers that I could use.

Riding in jeans with no knee guards. Your one brave man! Or should stupid be inserted? Not trying to be nasty mate, but bush bike riding you are asking for trouble. We always went out wearing the full gear, knee and elbow guards, kidney belt and body armour. This stuff had saved me on many occasions. Cept for my last ever ride which didn't end up well.
I will tell you this, take it with a grain of salt if you wish mate. We had a chick in our group a few years back get her bike licence and wanted to come out with the boys. We went camping for a weekend, she came with her bike. She though to take her bike for a quick ride around the camp site, no protection on her at all. Being the ditsy girl she was, she manage to stack at walking speed and she smashed her knee on a rock. Totally stuffing her riding desires for ever and also her career as a personal trainer.
Just putting it out there mate. Safety and protection is number 1 with this stuff.

Yep I would agree with you there mate. It's all on the cards, only thing I had that you mentioned was a kidney belt, and also a poor jacket.
Was taking it fairly easy, but will be getting all the gear as soon as I can.
Cheers

Good stuff. Just a word of advice. Once you get that gear on and have your first stack with it on, you might feel a bit invincible. Just remember your not. But you do feel good in them, when you get just get up and brush the dirt off and have a laugh at the stack you just had. My funniest was laying the Husky down full noise into a corner on a dirt road. I knew I wasn't gonna make it around the bend so I just got it sideways and laid her down and enjoyed the slide. That feck I had body armour on. Had a few scratches on it after that one.

Worth a try mate! My dad is Italian, and we grew up on home made Gnocchi. Had it every Sunday. It was the wog version to a Sunday roast. My dad then remarried, to a Malaysian woman, now, she makes the meanest beef curry with rice I have ever had. Guess what we have now? Beef curry with Gnocchi! Best of both worlds.

At 5:30am, I went outside and I couldn't see the dog. Grabbed my torch and did a 'patrol' of the fence line and no holes - so where's the dog?
I found it tucked up in the corner of its kennel. It didn't even get out of bed to say good morning. I'd say it had a 'shocking' experience or two,

Onya, roofy. Good to hear.
What made my week was I got the engine pipe replaced on Wednesday, but the manifold/ engine pipe gasket let go this morning.
I took the Old Trol back to Matt at the exhaust place and he told me to bring it back at 4.
I got there at 1/2 3 and he got started on it. All three studs broke when he tried a new gasket.
The problem was the engine pipes weren't welded square to the flange and were fouling the manifold.
Matt stripped of the manifold, drilled tapped and replaced all three studs and modified the engine pipes to fit.
He finished the job at 1/2 6. He was going to get a credit from the engine pipe manufacture so there was no extra charge to us!!
If you are touring around this great country and you find you have need of an exhaust repair, definitely go to Portland Exhausts and you will get the job done right.

Read the what has made you angry thread BA . explains the situation . Winnie my entire front yard is getting a revamp . New front brick fence , new stormwater pipes, driveway removed and widenened , footpath and walkpath from the footpath to the front verandah , retaining wall on side boundary and new side fence. Forecast rain & cold change also held off here all day whilst I was out doing my Fwd Vic proficiency course. Tracks were damp but not too much so to make the going too slippery. That made me happy. Finding the stall-stop/key start on hills easier than I had imagined was pretty good too.

Finally finished setting up my reversing camera for the VMS X506 in dash unit in my 2008 GU Troll. I used I CMD17N from Parkmate and it tucked away nicely underneath the Patrol badge in the left barn door.
Next step will be a rapid chip and possibly an intercooler upgrade with A.R.E Intercoolers.
Now I'm having a few golden ales.
Cheers!

Yeah, not bad, was basically an intro to 4wd course so most of the stuff covered I already knew..... yours will be more advanced I’m sure. I did learn a couple of important & useful techniques, but it was also good just to get some more experience on the club track & out in the bush. I found it good to have instructors sitting in the car & advising. MrsTea is going to do the course in October once she’s familiarised herself with driving the Patrol on the road & had a few lessons from Cameron (cgm) out in the bush (he’s a good teacher). The course is 3 hours one evening of basic theory & then a day of driving on the track & out in the bush.
A friend up here used to run the CFA off road training for tanker drivers, some of it sounded fairly hairy, so I reckon it might be right up your street!

Well yesterday I got offered a job in Queensland, not my first preference but I've been waiting for a vic position for nearly 6 months. I was about to accept it and looking forward to starting my new career, when I got a phone call today...... Victoria finally made me an offer, which I accepted on the spot. Now a couple of months wait till I actually start..... Bring it on. Funny how things sometimes work out.

Got home tonight there's a card on the door. Victoria Police card, oh oh what have i done? ? Have a look says someone had handed in a wallet. Lost a wallet probably 5 years ago and totally forgot about it. Thought may as well pick it up tomorrow from the diamo cop shop, but then a bit later a police car rocks up with a couple of lovely police man and lady and hand delivers my long lost wallet still with 60 bucks cash. Awesome - go Victoria Police, made my day! !
