Lol, what he said. Basically our internet is delivered via prehistoric copper cabling. The further you live from the telephone exchange the slower it is. NBN is fibre optic cable, much faster and sort of keeping up with the rest of the world, apart from our over inflated pricing.
So I will be shifting from a 4.5 mbps connection to 50mbps connection.

Super impressed with the service from Patrolapart.
Spoke to Paul yesterday morning, he didn't have the parts (hub egg ring spacers) in stock but could source them locally from Nissan, phoned Nissan whilst I was on the phone & confirmed they had them. Paid with my credit card & the parts arrived at my mailbox late this morning, wife picked them up on her way home. Can't get better than that. Price was reasonable too.

Yes there is a date set, can't bloody remember though right now. I'll need to dig out the dates and will post a suitable thread.
The 3 amigos from QLD are driving down for a Hard / extreme weekend drive. Likely in the high country. I will be doing some recct runs over the winter in the GQ to find some quality tracks to challenge them.
I will be keen for a camping weekend and maybe have a crew do some medium stuff in the area while we go play hard and then meetup for a beer and a fire in the evenings. Gun a be great.
Leave it with me, I will post up a meetup thread in the coming days and everyone will get an invite.
Be clear though guys. Hard Really Does MEAN Hard! I will be making hard calls on suitable cars. This really won't be a tag along type trip. There will be a couple of Navi seats available and if your car does not AT LEAST have front and rear Lockers and 35" Simex Extremes or better then your going to be in the Medium group. Simple.
These boys are driving a long way for a couple of days of quality driving, Mat is Towing his play car on a trailer behind his GUIv and I want to show them as much as possible. Sitting on a track for 5 hours dragging cars up is not quality time. The boys don't have the time. Sorry.
All good though.
I will start a thread today hopefully. Can't remember the dates. Bene if you can pm me the dates again bud that would be awesome.
Cheers MR

Cheers MR
Well I'm out.. plenty of. Ow you know the drill...

Been helping my lil bro with his XB over the last couple of weeks to fit a few things that he got a while ago like a 351 cleveland, gt bonnet and rear beaver panel that i prepped and painted, fabbed up a couple of brackets for his trans cooler. Tonight i made half of his exhaust too which i'm pretty stoked about coz its turned out heaps better than any of the 4 i made for my self lol

I thought about getting some but the mounts are different style to those you find on modern cars so they can carry weight, plus this is just temporary mate, later on down the track i'll probably make him a stainless one. Each pipe will have one muffler, he got some Redback mufflers but trial fitting them tonight i didn't like the note they made so i dug up my old Magnaflow mufflers that i had on my RX7 that changed the note and gave it a better rasp on de-acceleration. But carbies always sound better than EFI lol

Amen.. sounds like a plan..
And for sure with carbies. My old EB 4.2 carby alwasy sounded better than my Mrs injected ED..

I always knew that, its the only reason I drink beer.
Good to see that stouts and ales are even better so my choice of Coopers is wise.

Best of luck mate. I'm sure that will be it. Though my reasons were probably different to yours, it was the best thing I've done.
Believe it or not, I gave up booze and cut down coffee at the same time. The habits are linked and you need to break that link.
I'm now able to enjoy a sip (generally much less now) and feel no need for a gasper at all. Was a pack a day smoker for 20 odd years.
