I work with 2 many idiots!!!!

yeah all good but when you have to deal with people that just dont pay at all or they take thier sweet own time to pay I had to wait almost 3 months before i got paid for 1 job i did and the constant chaseing for money does make it hard some times and makes u wonder if its all worth it

Todd, If you can find something to do and be your own boss, go for it.
Showing my age here, I have worked for myself for the last 35 years and haven't regretted a moment of it.
You seem pretty handy mechanically, did a nice job of painting your house so you must be good with your hands.
This is how I started out, anything that came along i had a go at, did a few courses on welding, carpentry etc.
You need a bit of capital to tide you over at the start before you make regular money, but once past that
inital hump you won't look back.
There's nothing like being able to say no to someone asking the impossible, or expecting you to jump through hoops.
It's a huge decision to make especially with a young family.
I started by doing it on weekends to build up a client base in the mechcanical maintenance field and eventually
turned it into full time employment.
Bit of a rant, but you can't beat working for yourself.

Got pipped at the post for one, but have more interviews next week for a position as safety supervisor with a civil company, so fingers crossed, but also looking on the bright side there are a lot more jobs being advertised of late, and i here the engineers are all flat out designing so thats also a good sign for the industry

Yes Yes..........remember the Hub problem I had ........I had a dodgy bearing on the front LHS I beleive it was causing my axle to float a little and was causing alll the problems cause i cant find anything else and so far with the testing i have done it hasent done it since so I will need to test it properly hahahahahahaha
