Yeah good mate gettin there ....got some front difff issues need to be doing front swivel hubs and bearings again they have some bad leaks ....and also the dizy retaining bolt has striped its thread so yhat needs to be retappped. Other than that the old girl is all good hows ur bus mate?

Yep thats the way im in the processs of fixing up my sons GQ at the moment the motor is almost ready to go back in then we need to tidy the old girl up picked. Up my new spray gun today to give it a lick of paint and mine has been put aside but i really need tk look at the dizy ....anoying the crap out of me keep on loosing the timing and have to stop and readjust ....should be all good when its all done

Hey congrats Westy, not sure why it would me different over here in the west but the baby bonus is 5k paid out over a period of time..... That's choice one, choice 2 is for the missus to take maternity leave from work for a period of around 4 months, now she will either get a certain amount of pay paid (called paid parental leave) by her company, who then claim it from centrelink, or she may get it from centrelink.......... It's all means tested, so you'll probably need to sit down and work out which option is best for your circumstance. There's a centrelink/family assist questionnaire online that you can do which will help you choose which way to go...........

I think it may have changed of late.
No.1 we had fortnightly maternity leave payments made to use over a months or so on.
But now the Missis recons you get a lump sum, then the rest is split up of a period of time. Which is a good think for first timers and the costs involved in setting up for a child with cots, prams and baby seats.. That's an average of $2000 just there...
I don't need to worry about means testing.. Were a single income family on $56 k a year..
But yea, that will probably go to a new car seat as were borrowing one ATM for when we pick up the nephew.
The old falcon will be fitted with 3 baby seats.. What a look... Lol

Been a little up and down. The missus is struggling to breast feed which is getting her down a little. Little takker lost 500G in 3 days so not to good. So were now comp feeding, and the wife is sleeping better. little one is sleeping a lot better, only up for 2 feeds around 3 hours apart threw the night, not 10.. And she's regained the lost weight and a bit more..

So a bit bumpy but we were expecting it as its exactly what happened with no.1

Well Bugga me.. They tried to burn the mill down today.. Fire in reco 2.. Left a pack of timber in there to long and it went poof...

One of the guys at work has had his iPhone cracked or had a code break or whatever the hell its called, so no longer pays for apps and is less restrictive...... he seems to like the apple crap though, he went out and bought one of hose I pad minis the day they came out.

Hey guys. Another night of twin duty. Been up since 6am yesterday so pushing 35 hours awake..... Loren (my missus) is crook so doing the right thing since she'll have to look after me on Thursday night! How you all doing?

Loving it mate. I do similar sort of hours when I finish on night shift sometimes. How are the 2 little bundles of joy going?

35 hours... Walk in the park... Lol
The second child was born 1.45 the morning after during night shift. So by the time I got home to bed it was 8.30 so that's 50.5 hours. Lol
I did average a week of 70+'s when I was a teenager bailing hay up at pirie.
But also when coming off nights you don't sleep untill the next night..
It takes it out of you for sure.. you'll sleep like a baby 2morrow...
