Everywhere is going into shutdown and they want everything checked over so I've been doing stupid hours aswell. Thought I might get a half a day off today after working all weekend but got home, hadn't been sitting down for 10 minutes and the phone rings again. Back into it. Still, I should be home by 10.30

Bullying, definitely not. Singling out one person, definitely not. Some choice words written, yeah ok you got me in that on. Fair enough mate but there is a difference between "fun banter" in jest between forum members and bullying.

I get picked on all the time in jest and I know it's "fun banter" I actually enjoy it to be honest as long as when I give it back you don't sook ;) but...

There's a select few who understand "exactly" what I am talking about here in crossing the line of what seems "fun banter" between the "other" members, but the posts directed to the person in question have become more sinister.

No argument there.

Lmao. We got radiant heating over some of the machines, but as soon as you walk away they do nothing. Evaporative cooling went in a couple of years ago, but d!ckheads on days have it flat out with all the doors open and does nothing. Split system in lunch room where I had to jump up and down before we got a new one put in.
I wear my thermal top during winter, at least I know that that always works.

Fully respect the balls it takes to dry sow. Was driving through the Mallee a couple of weeks ago and the farmers were all out dry sowing and I thought about the money they were pouring into the dust and dirt based on the chance of rain. Most folk don't understand the risks these guys take. On the other hand if farmers don't dry sow they'll probably go under waiting for a good season.

Hey mate. The original promotion I was possibly going to get gave me a full time vehicle, 4 x 4 ute of several options. This is where selling the 4.2 was a consideration, if things went down that path. Which they didn't ...

HOwever, I still do standby / callouts / night shifts for 2 out of 8 weeks where I have a work van for the duration. Which is what I completed today thank fark ! Beer o'clock...

Too many times I've gotten home on autopilot, scary sh!t that.
I make sure that I always have something to eat on the way home. A few pieces of fruit keeps me busy.

So my shift just went from a nice easy 3-11pm to a 12hr shift covering the worst section for breakdowns

That makes the night go quick, and you get up the operator for being knuckledraggers

It does bit it farks your the next night..
I feel bad though..
Monday night I left the night shift blokes with a farked bearing on the 60" chipper..
Could smell it all night and we checked every gearbox, belts etc etc..
Didn't even suspect the bearing as it had only been replaced 2 months ago..
Farked their night though..
200mm shaft bearing on the end of a 1.5T chipper disk..

Bloody stupid night shift life..

Finished work Monday morning and have taken my only 2 work days this week off. Kids home and trying to get this packing all sorted. So that gives me the whole week off.
Packing side of things are slowly moving along, but fark if I can get a descent night sleep. End up falling asleep around 4-5 am and then I drag my sleep deprived ass out of bed around 10.
No motivation whatsoever and end up to bloody bugged to do anything.

This nights is pissing me right off
They have been juggling jobs and people for years know.

Sales have gone from nearly $40M to a forecast of $13M for the next financial year all in less then 10 years.
There are people who are happy to go with a package and some are happy to stay on. So I don't see a problem....

Sorry for the rant.
Probably could've gone in the angry thread.
