do you have them set up in their own room or in your room??
just asking because we started off in our room because my wife was paraniod about sids and we struggled for 6 years before we got this little one so she is very precious and protected to my wife. we moved her to her own room when she was 6mths

I've got the trial recovery gear ready to be sent to Jas and MR for a good testing, just awaiting welder to produce some ground anchors and then they will be set..
I won't be selling no cheap crap, its top end only. Like 6m 10t tree trunk straps and extension straps (that's work rating not breaking), solid anchors, quality snatch straps and custom bar work..
That's the plan anyway..

bloody computers nowadays you could almost buy a new one for the cost of getting them fixed, my dogknocked our old laptop off the couch and broke the screen was going to be $700 for a new screen and a new laptop was $900 cheaper in the end to get a new one

93patrol
14th January 2013, 03:21 AM
yeah worked out to 210km every day 1 tank of fuel about $24 on the R1 that i had if i drove my ute it would have cost me a fortune
timbar
14th January 2013, 03:27 AM
yeah a full tank of lpg in my old patrol so im looking forward to getting a diesel
93patrol
14th January 2013, 03:30 AM
diesel are great but you will miss the extra grunt of the petty. going of mine if i take it over 2700rpm its a complete waste of time and fuel, if i could afford to i would put a turbo on it but i want to sell it in a couple years and get a newer 4.8 petrol patrol
93patrol
14th January 2013, 03:37 AM
would you consider a ute or need the wagon for family stuff?
timbar
14th January 2013, 03:39 AM
yeah thats why im looking at the turbo models my maverick wasnt too bad was a 4.2 turbo i got 430km to the tank when i got it and after a carbon clean i was getting 650km+ out of a tank was a little slow on take off but once it was moving it was fine and i towed a trailer every day
timbar
14th January 2013, 03:40 AM
would you consider a ute or need the wagon for family stuff?
yeah wagon lwb prefer 7 seater but a 5 or 6 will do
93patrol
14th January 2013, 03:44 AM
yeah at the moment i get between 500-550 km a tank whether i am towing my trailer for work on just normal driving, even if i get out along the beach i think i get even better fuel economy
timbar
14th January 2013, 03:51 AM
my mav was a pearler too bought it for a bargain from a backpacker who had to leave aust in 2 days so i gave him a offer and left he rang me back on his last day in aust and accepted my offer but the best thing i did to it was the carbon clean no more smoke and economy was so much better
93patrol
14th January 2013, 03:53 AM
might have to try that on mine was it just a fuel additive or a spray down the throttle body
timbar
14th January 2013, 04:04 AM
nah i took it to a specialist cost me like $200 but was worth every cent i was gaining almost 100km every tank until i rolled the vehicle 30kms out of bunbury old coast rd i had travelled from far north of perth to just past preston beach turn off and the needle had just started to move off the full mark ...the towing company towed the mav to the caravan park where we were staying the missuses brother brought the oldmans mq up from mandurah and left us on empty so i syphoned the fuel from the mav and it filled 20lt jerry 4 times so out of the 90lt tank i had used less than 80lts so yeah i was pretty impressed almost 300km on around 10lt of fuel
93patrol
14th January 2013, 04:22 AM
might have to look into it cheers for that.
