Might be a bottom tank for an auto cooler

Also noticed you have room on your pod for extra toggle switches
or indicator leds, like my cruise control

    Yeah, I'll put something there.

Radiator went in good. Had a look around for a bleeder on the firewall and the closest I found was this.

How good are these. I've one on the top hose without a problem, but the bottom hose now has a light leak. Will a screwdriver clamp be better.

You are better off removing all the OE hose clamps you can find
Try and find the wide SS worm drive clamps, constant pressure
clamps are a bit of overkill for water hoses

After Yendor comments on TD motor thread regarding the electric fan it got me a little concerned.

I always thought that fan went on at 90 degrees and the a/c would cut out at 105 degrees.

Now the fan is going on at 96 degrees, so are these new gauges that I'm happy with not accurate? How would I check to see what's right....

My condenser fan never comes on and ive had water temps at 115c. I have two condenser fans and something id like to do is add a manual switch to turn them on if needed.

I wouldn't be too concerned. You'd have to run a capillary temp gauge in the same spot where the new gauge is to compare.
