So I've been told that I'm going through a mid life crisis. Depression and a relationship end is only part of it. I am diagnosed ADD an recently registered on the autism spectrum. I am a Gemini and a Taurus (they call it a cusp).
So I have 2 personalities going through all this crap and both of them are too damned stubborn to help each other pull ME out of this shit hole.
So thought for the day ........

Four-Leaf Clovers
I know a place where the sun is like gold,
And the cherry blooms burst with snow,
And down underneath is the loveliest nook,
Where the four-leaf clovers grow.
One leaf is for hope, and one is for faith,
And one is for love, you know,
And God put another in for luck
If you search, you will find where they grow.
But you must have hope, and you must have faith,
You must love and be strong, and so,
If you work, if you wait, you will find the place
Where the four-leaf clovers grow.

There were two Buddhist monks walking along the river - one old and the other his junior. They walked for hours and found a woman near the edge of the river quite hysterical. She turned to the two monks and cried "Oh please help me - the river has risen and my children are in my house on the other side of the river all alone!". The younger of the two monks says "I am sorry but we cannot help - we are not permitted to touch a female - it's our faith".
Silently the older monk rolls up his robe and tells the woman to climb on his back and he wades across the river. The woman thanks the monk and he wades back.
The two monks continue to walk for another several hours and the younger monk does not say a word but the older monk can tell he is angry and troubled. After another couple of hours the old monk stops and say "My brother - I can tell something bothers you - what is it?"
The younger monk will not speak so they walk in silence for another couple of hours when once again the older monk stops and asks what is wrong.
The younger monk says "Brother - you know it is against our faith to touch a woman - yet you are my teacher and touched that woman without a thought - what can I learn from you?".
The older monk looks at the younger monk and says "Brother - I carried that woman on my back for 5 minutes across that river - yet you have carried her on your back for the last 5 hours - this is what you can learn from me".
