I have shudder'd at it.
I shudder no more.
I could be martyr'd for my religion
Love is my religion
And I could die for that.
I could die for you.

But there are those times, when everything, I mean love, romance, relationships, it all falls together perfectly. And it's incredible. READ THIS SLOWLY....IT'S VERY PROFOUND.
Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.
I got to thinking one day about all those people on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. >From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.
How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word 'refrigeration' mean nothing to you?
How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television?
I cannot count the times I called my sister and said , 'How about going to lunch in a half hour?' She would gas up and stammer, 'I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain' And my personal favorite: 'It's Monday.' She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.
Because we cram so much into our lives, we tend to schedule our headaches…We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!
We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Steve toilet-trained. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet. We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college.
Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of 'I'm going to,' 'I plan on,' and 'Someday, when things are settled down a bit.'
When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Rollerblades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord.
My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process. The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.
Now...go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to...not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?
Make sure you read this to the end; you will understand why I sent this to you.
Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask 'How are you?' Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, 'We'll do it tomorrow.' And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say 'Hi'?
When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift...Thrown away....Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.
Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND including me if you consider me a friend. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends.
To those I have sent this to...I cherish our friendship and appreciate all you do. We have some history together.
'Life may not be the party we hoped for...but while we are here we might as well dance!'

If the population of the earth was reduced to that of a small town with
100 people, it would look something like this:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 Americans (northern and southern)
8 Africans
52 Women and 48 Men
70 Coloured-skins and 30 Caucasians
89 Heterosexuals and 11 Homosexuals
6 people would own 59% of the whole world wealth and all of them will
be from the United States of America
80 would have bad living conditions, 70 would be uneducated and 50
underfed
1 would die and 2 would be born
1 would have a computer and 1 (only one) will have a higher education
When you look at the world from this point of view, you can see there is
a real need for solidarity, understanding, patience and education. Also
think about the following. This morning, if you woke up healthy, then
you are happier than the 1 million people that will not survive next week.
If you never suffered a war, the loneliness of the jail cell, the agony of
torture, or hunger, you are happier than 500 million people in the world.
If you can enter into a church (mosque) without fear of jail or death, you
are happier than 3 million people in the world. If there is food in your
fridge, you have shoes and clothes, you have a bed and a roof, you are
richer than 75% of the people in the world.
If you have a bank account, money in your wallet and some coins in the
money box, you belong to the 8% of the people in the world, who are
well-to-do.
If you read this you are three times blessed because:
• Somebody just thought of you.
• You don’t belong to the 200 million people that cannot read.
• And…you have a computer!

>"FIVE LESSONS ABOUT THE WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE"
>-- Author Unknown
>
>
>1. First Important Lesson - Know The Cleaning Lady.
>
>During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I
was
>a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I
>read the last one: "What is the first
name
>of the woman who cleans the school?"
>
>Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman
several
>times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s,but how would I know
her
>name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just
before
>class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward
our
>quiz grade.
>
>"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many
>people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even
>if all you do is smile and say "hello."
>
>I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.
>
>
>2. Second Important Lesson - Pickup In The Rain
>
>One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing
on
>the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm.
Her
>car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she
>decided to flag down the next car.
>
>A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those
>conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get
>assistance and put her into a taxicab.
>
>She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked
>him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his
>surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home.
>
>A special note was attached. It read: "Thank you so much for assisting
me
>on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes,
but
>also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to
make it
>to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away. God bless you
for
>helping me and unselfishly serving others."
>Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole.
>
>
>3. Third Important Lesson - Remember Those Who Serve.
>
>In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10 year-old boy
>entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table.
>A waitress put a glass of water in front of him. "How much is an ice
cream
>sundae?" he asked. "50c," replied the
>waitress.
>
>The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins
in
>it.
>
>"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired. By now
more
>people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
>"35c!" she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll
>have the plain
>ice cream," he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill
on
>the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the
cashier
>and left.
>
>When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the
table.
>There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five
>pennies. You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have
>enough left to leave her a tip.
>
>
>4. Fourth Important Lesson - The Obstacles In Our Path.
>
>In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid
>himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some
of
>the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked
>around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear,
but
>none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
>
>Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon
approaching
>the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the
stone
>to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally
>succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he
noticed a
>purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained
>many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was
for
>the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned
>what many of us never understand - "Every obstacle presents an
opportunity
>to improve our condition."
>
>
>5. Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When It Counts.
>
>Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to
know a
>little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious
>disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be
a
>blood transfusion from her 5-year-old brother, who had miraculously
>survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to
>combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little
>brother, and asked the
little
>boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him
>hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep
breath
>and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her."
>As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and
smiled,
>as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face
grew
>pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a
>trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?".
>
>Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he
was
>going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

I've learned-
That you cannot make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back.
I've learned-
That it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it. That it's not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.
I've learned -
That you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you better know something. That you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do. That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I've learned-
That it's taking me a long time to become the person that I want to be. That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I've learned-
That you can keep going long after you can't. That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I've learned-
That either you control your attitude or it controls you. That regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is a first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.
I've learned-
That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences. That money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I've learned-
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time. That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you are down will be the ones to help you get back up.
I've learned-
That sometimes when I get angry I have the right to be angry, but it doesn't give me the right to be cruel. That true friendship continues to grow over the longest distance, and the same goes for true love.
I've learned-
That just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.
I've learned-
That you should never tell a child their dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what tragedy it would be if they believed it. That no matter how good your friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while, and you must forgive them for that.
I've learned-
That it isn't always good enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you must learn to forgive yourself. That no matter how bad a heart is broken; the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I've learned-
That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for whom we become. That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean that they don't love each other, and just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.
I've learned-
That we don't have to change friends, if we understand that friends change. That two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I've learned-
That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you. That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.
I've learned-
That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
¢¾that the people you care about the most in life are taken from you too soon ¢¾
I've learned-
That it¡¯s hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting someone¡¯s feelings or standing up for what you believe. That no matter what happens to me on earth or how much my faith falters, God's faith in me never dwindles or fails.
I've learned-
That life's lessons never end and wisdom can always be passed on.

Sometimes it is right to share our wisdom and lead those we love to correct answers.
Other times it is far wiser to stand quietly in the shadows, allowing someone dear to stumble upon his own answers.

This is so true, just like to olds saying, 'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'.

If you're in a vehicle going the speed of light, what happens when you turn on the headlights?
Your headlights will do nothing, as light contains no mass, therefore no momentum can be gained. It will always be dark for you. So slow down and enjoy the things you can see.
Thats my enlightened take on it.
