I had one do the same recently and it was as simple as cleaning the neg terminal earths to the body and engine. Your winch wires can be sealed after cleaning and re connecting wire liquid electrical tape like they do with marine wiring. There’s probably other products on the market but boat electronics in salt water corrodes fast so look at what they use to help with that situation.
Still got the buzzing relay mate but I have found many others with the same thing with no resolve. The buzzing stops as soon as the vehicle is running, so it’s on the back burner for now.
