Was only going to remove it to either body swap the engine or make it cheaper to do.

Just a look through your thread Winnie, how long did it end up taking you?
I got told you had to remove the IP to get the timing backplate off?

You can leave it bolted to the engine which means you do not have to re-time it.
As for time I'm not really sure as I spent an hour here and there on it over a fair time. If you have all the tools and are more prepared than I was you can certainly do it in a weekend.
