TD42 Water Pump & Timing Cover Coolant Leak Cost

Hey Guys,

So the mechanic confirmed that I have a coolant leak from my water pump, front of timing cover and rear of timing cover on my 1989 TD42.
Now he said its a bloody costly job but never said how much.

I'm not one to tackle it myself so I was wondering how much it would cost to reseal the timing cover both front and rear as well as the water pump? (to get a mechanic to do it)

What are the chances of severe corrosion or anything on it?
Could it potentially make the job cheaper if I removed the engine for the mechanic?

Its a pretty basic job mate. @Winnie has a thread somewhere where he has taken all that off. Buy a new water pump and tackle it yourself if you have even half skills mate. we will help you with any questions no probs.
