My brother has tried and failed many times from quitting smoking...

true story....He went to Hypnosis, half way through the session the guy was asking Mark questions and asked about colours and he mentioned the colour red....mark's eyes starting flickering real fast and he started to shake and then all of a sudden he yelled out "Red Rooster"..LMAO....No joke!

Apparently the guy just freaked out and thought my brother was an absolute nut job.

When Mark went to the car after the session he had 12 missed calls from the installers, he rung one of them back and next minute he knew he was half way through a ciggy without even realising that he just light up...lol

This is giving up smoking thread, not drinking ! Although the two seem to go hand in hand alot.
My justification for not givng up is my weight, do men care about their weight these days ??
I struggle with my weight every day, and took me 3 years to loose 100 pounds, I dont want them back... I swap ciggarettes for food at work, I dont want to do that at home..

dont believe that ma`am you wont replace one with the other
i still put my ciggie monie in the safe every day after all this time
that has bought me two boats 16.6 foot, and a 23 footer, the new Patrol, more rifles, heap more fishing gear, a few trips overseas just for fishing and the list go`s on
and all because i stopped smoking................ SO ITS WORTH THE EFFORT ...................TRUST ME you know im right hay!!!!!!

As most (?) of you know, I dont smoke at work, so no cigarettes for two weeks, then make up for it when I get home.
So, last time home, I started taking the so called wonder drug 'Champix'. That was about 18 days ago. As I am at work and not smoking anyway, I dont really know if they are having affect. The nausea and weird dreams started about 3 days ago. Easter Monday will be THE day to find out. I will say, a wise man once told me that if I tell myself I dont like taste and smell for three months it'll work. So having done that for 2 weeks before I went home and during, The taste of smokes was actually more disgusting than usual. That's about it so far. Stay tuned............

I have not had a Cigarette for over 18 months now but the urge to smoke has come back in the last month. I am not going to weaken but it is funny that the urge has returned.
No pressures or anything to cause it. Strange but so am I

5years this weekend since i smoked i did the hypno thing and once or twice a year i get a bad dream where i light 1 up and feel like a real ar53hole for doin so its one of those "real" dreams
