    Hi Cyril

I actually looked into this a few months ago and no one makes a projector which can be activated by 24 volt. I couldn't find a D2S bulb in 24 volt either which is the bulb 99% of projectors take. So I don't know how you would go about fitting these. From what I've been told you would have to reduce the power back to 12 volt for everything to operate.

Leave it will with me a couple more days and I'll speak to a couple of retro fitters in the States later today and see if I can get some options for you.

    Cheers Mick.

It may be easier just to get a 24-12v inverter as you only need to power the relay. They are cheap enough these days and readily available.

Thats the easy part. What I need to know off Cyril is are the H4 bulbs in his patrol 12 volt or 24 volt? If the lights are still 12 volts like many trucks then it's an easy mod.

    Cheers Mick.

After doig some research Cyril yes it can be done. What I have to do is fit a 24 volt to 12 volt convertor to your lowbeam and high beam in your H4 loom and also fit one to the power supply wire that comes from your battery.

For the 3 convertors your loooking at between $150 and $200 on top of the standard 7 inch headlight kit, I may be able to get them cheaper but thats just an average off some I've seen on the net.

    Cheers Mick.

Not sure what the current draw is on the Low and High beam switching but you might be able to use 1x 24volt to 12 volt reducer and 2x 24 volt relays.

The 24 volt relays will be wired into the low and high beam headlight circuits and they will switch 12 volts from the reducer to your HID projector harness.

The same reducer will also be used for the power supply.

The other thing to remember is that voltage reducers will also draw power in stand by mode. So it would be a good idea to use another relay and a couple of diodes so the reducer only powdered up when the headlights were turned on or at least only when ignition was turned on.

The biggest problem here is I'm in Newcastle NSW and he is in Russia so I'm limited on what I can do at this end to make it work. I think you would be better off getting an auto electrican install them as they would be able to sort it out pretty easily.

    Cheers Mick.
