Yes that's perfectly fine. A lot of my customers buy the lights and send them directly to me.

There are 2 options with the projectors. I'll list both options and prices.

Just so your aware though that the indicators cant be seperated and the guys that have them painted black actually have the outside painted black not the inside. They look good in pics but I'm not sure what they look like up close as I've never touched the indicators and wont as I don't think they would look to good in 12 months.

The Q5 kit is $400 with the 50 watt ballasts and angel eyes.

With the Q5 H4 projectors which are bolt in. To fit these, blacken out the housings and shrouds your looking at $270.

The other kit is the Stanley projector kit. These are $450 with the 50 watt ballasts and angel eyes. These are better quality projectors which require cutting of the lights so theres a little more labour in fitting and materials.

To fit these your looking at $400 with black work included.

    Cheers Mick.
So its $670 or $850 and I supply the lights? Correct? If so, Holy moly! I reckon I'll have to have a crack at it myself if I go ahead.
Plus at the comments for Alitis, I thought the series 1,2 and 3 head lights were interchangeable. It was the series 4 that went to a single piece headlamp and indicator. If thats what your getting at...
    Time to save moar moolah!

Yes those are the prices but that includes heat proof paints, glues and sealers and there is heaps of labour when painting everything. In the States they charge from $1500 upwards when going though a retrofitting shop.

The series 1 and 2 lights are the same. The series 3 lights are different but can be fitted straight in but the indicators have to be fitted with them to. Where the indicators and lights join are a totally different shape which is why both get fitted together. The series 4 goes to a light and indicator as a whole.

    Cheers Mick.

Mick. I was just looking around at the headlight on Ebay. The ones I saw have plastic len's. The OEM light in my cars is glass. To do your mod is the plastic lens still good to use?

Hi mate. It doesn't matter to me if the glass or poly carbonate. I actually do more plastic lights then glass these days. It's about 20% glass to 80% plastic.

Most of the time if the lights are plastic from the factory then the aftermarket Depo lighst are plastic and if there glass from factory there usually glass aftermarket. If you buy aftermarket depo then you will get good quality lights either way though.

    Cheers Mick.

    Hi All,

I am about to fit a set of Mick's lights to my 99 GU. Has anyone got any suggestions as to best location to mount the ballasts?

Thanks for the lights Mick, they look top notch.

It might not happen for a while mate. I cant sell the ones I've already got and I'm not prepared to buy 200 bulbs on the chance of selling 10 especially when LED is always changing. When my website it up and running then I'll look into other things but the retrofitting is keeping me to busy to worry about new products ATM.

    Cheers Mick
