    Got myself an auto gearbox from a local wrecker with ribbed bell housing and a J4 torque converter. Will be installing both within next week and hopefully will see better figures of the atf temperature..

    The guy (a local) got a pretty good smack to the scone thats scrambled him for a while. I was getting my mail at our Firestation and watched him come around the corner going like a cut cat. To be honest when I got there after watching him roll and flip I thought I was going to be dealing with a death bloody glad I wasn't

    Bumma about the birds nest mate, bugger to untangle. Hope the other victims of the prang are on the road to recovery also

    Gunna give my HF radio a work out today/this weekend. Pre-arranged with Snicko to give her a call. WA to SA.....gunna be interesting.

    Just to add to my list of things on the previous page. At 1am this morning i decided to take off the Safari snorkel and attack the surface rust under it. Rubbed back and undercoated is as far as I got.
    Hey DX thats a fair distance. You reckon you get a reception?
