Oddly smooth up to about 1800rpm, then the vibes increased to a max of say 2000rpm and the whole floor and steering column were shaking. Tried to drive thru it but at 2300rpm started to lose power, it was pretty severe. Will use the radiator blind next time, i bought it but as normal too lazy to fit it - not next time though!

Picked the Patrol up today. Just from new squirters, and no retune, she gained nearly another 20rwkw from when it went in at 160rwkw and the afr's dropped significantly too. Also had a full comp test done and a few other things which added to the bill but its all done and goes great!
Drove it 688km, another 529km tomorrow to reach our destination. Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.

Can be quite annoying though I agree when crossing the same meandering river several times whilst our trucks work hard climbing in between and needing covers/blinds back off/on again for airflow.
Without going to the extent of trials & tribulations like my utes full electric isolation fans mate has anybody ever had success somehow adapting behind a viscous fan some type of electric on/off coupling for deep crossings? Kind of like how our trucks airconditioners work I guess meaning?
