Sorry Rodney, mate we very rarely step in. In 6 years or so as a Mod here I can count on 1 hand how many time I have Moderated a thread. So few In fact I could count and still pick my nose in both nostrils. I kill spammers all the time but Rarely, Rarely kill discussion.

Clearly Dom is passionate about his lifestyle, I'm not discouraging him at all, but Nissanpatrol.com.au doesn't need a debate thread about the pros and cons of being a Vegan. If we left it stand how could I shut down a thread about religion politics or War.

Darren may be right. Vegan stuff can get political & ugly. It's a sensitive subject for many meat eaters 'cos some of the people's livelihood depends on it. So, it can get political.
I'm bit sad 'cos we lost our sense of humour along the thread.
I was hoping for a fun and humorous debate.
But, I reckon it's bound to happen with controversial subjects like vegan eating.

No hard feelings mate. You eat what you like and I do the same.

Life is too damn short to get ugly over our belief systems or facts/truths as we individuals see it.

I think you're reading the whole situation wrong Rodney.

I've only just got home myself and just read the thread and what Darren did.

There was no "bitching" or sooking or anything like that.

The thread was getting passionate from both sides and was clearly heading from a light hearted joking around and then began ramping up to more animal images from both sides and Darren made a call to stop it before it got out of hand which I support his decision.

I don't think there was any bitching going on, Darren saw something slowly brewing and made a call on his own, that's about it really...
