The discussion about this was on one thread which was fine but for some reason he moved it to the Memes thread.

Since you managed to delete the "horrible" vegan thread, I had post it here.
I couldn't keep my big mouth shut after seeing your lecture about so called Australian ways, so I had to
post my own lecture about it.
Lets forget about debates and stick with memes.

Now, who's gonna post a a picture of a whole roasted pig or a one just before it's getting roased?
It is totally acceptable here in our Australian culture, you know?!

No it would seem it started in this Mem thread and then migrated to its own thread.

I have removed the other thread and happy to clean this one up too gents. We have move way past what would be considered reasonable or on topic foe a Nissanpatrol forum and I think the thread should get back on topic.

Have a chat In the pub thread if you need too but I'd prefer it was left at the door.

Sorry mate, I read the Vegan thread and clearly your passionate about the topic. Sorry mate but this is a Nissan Patrol Forum and generally we stay on topic. We have a strict code that we avoid Political Discussion and debate and retain a healthy A political position on everything except Toyota which is open slather.

I appreciate you may be Vegan and passionate about your way of life. Please share that in a like minded Vegan type forum or Facebook page. It doesn't work here mate.

Your an active member and keen for you to stick around and enjoy the forum but we really need it left at the door.

I have Moderated your thread after returning from the snow trip, I probably would have shut it down on Saturday if I'd been around though. If @AB want to reinstate it it is there but I don't think it belongs on NP.com

Darren may be right. Vegan stuff can get political & ugly. It's a sensitive subject for many meat eaters 'cos some of the people's livelihood depends on it. So, it can get political.
I'm bit sad 'cos we lost our sense of humour along the thread.
I was hoping for a fun and humorous debate.
But, I reckon it's bound to happen with controversial subjects like vegan eating.

No hard feelings mate. You eat what you like and I do the same.

Life is too damn short to get ugly over our belief systems or facts/truths as we individuals see it.
