Thanks for all the feedback guys. Thought I'd check first, as it looks like $500+ for the Boss kit and another $300 ish for the airbags on eBay. Guess it's cheaper than a repair job if I don't!

True that Marshall mate :-) Braced up Coil-Airbags also give you great adjustability for varying loads. Mrs MB can run between 5psi for the kids Ponies up to 30psi for a Clydesdale :-) I took it all one step further with my work coily ute and removed the coils completely for Firestone 'On-Air' truck type bags, smooth as cat shit on the highway and very Mexican 'loco' fun adjusting up to 70psi for serious loads on its back :-)

I just installed my boss braces today while upgrading my springs on the gu.
Patrol is only a couple months old so installed them as a preventative measure as I tow a camper.
Word of warning to anybody looking to install the kit. I would recommend installing the bump stop bolts first before tightening the 4 upper bolts. I nearlly stripped a bump stop bolt by tightening the smaller upper 4 first. Had to lossen them back up to get the bumpstop bolt in correctly.
Not sure if it was the same for every body else who has installed them but it was only has to be slightly out to strip the bolt.
I also used locktight for safe measure
Installed my Boss braces on my 2012 GU today too! Also installed a new set of Firestone Coilrite airbags as we tow an off-road camper.
Job was pretty straightforward once the car was up on the axle stands and lowered the back axle - a little bit of caution to others, as had to remove some of the brake line mounts and diff breather etc. to drop enough to get springs all the way out (2" lift). Braces and bags went in no problem... thankfully nothing bent from earlier.
Good piece of mind if nothing else!

Can you let us know how your set-up performs Marshall?
Superior Engineering has an advantage of a possible GVM upgrade when using their product and a lot cheaper.
I used their kit for ute and easy to fit with tray on.
At the end of the day, all you have is yourself and all you need is your friends (and in our case our Patrol)
