I pulled the outer door window seals off a while back to replace the drivers seal as it was broken. The amount of crud in there under the seal was amazing. So i removed all outer door window seals and scrubbed it clean and also washed and scrubbed the seals themselves as the felt section had gone hard over time from the dirt. Just washing them made the felt section much better.
Was a fairly quick and easy job to do aswell.
One screw for the front doors and two for the rears.
That flat section you talk of Kimbo is where i drilled the holes. So that dirt has somewhere to go.
