What you like to know Sooty.
I have found the Vortex Viper Pst's to be excellent scopes. Comparing them to the Razor, NF, Doctor etc the colour rendition isn't quite there but good enough I'm not using them to take photo's with. The old man has found the same and is running PST's on his 22 hornet and 20PPC rifles.
The stock on the 465 is a Jeff Slee Walnut XXX grade thumbhole that I did the finishing in Tru-Oil also pillars installed and bedded. Barrel wise blued Tobler 22" 1:14 twist and using 13gr of Hodgdon's Lil-Gun and 36gr Barnes varmint grenades, velocity wise doing doing 3150fps.
The 250 is laminated thumbhole made by one of the benchrest boys at Little River again same as the 465. Barrel S/S 26" TSE fluted just slightly heavier than the Rem varmint profile 1:12 twist. About to try Hodgdon's CFE-223 powder running 55gr Nosler ballistic tips.
The 6.5 Epps will be a monster 30" Bartlien barrel not sure what the profile number is straight taper down from the breach to the muzzle and the muzzle is 1.5" dia with a 1:8 twist to run 140gr Bergers or Hornady AMAX's. The action is a Win P14 ( or Enfield P14 ) it is the only action besides a Ruger No1 ( they did make them in 303 for a short time ) that will handle the pressure's I want to run to get the full benifet. Everything pretty much is custom even the pic rail I have to mill up to fit. The stock is a Richards Microfits from the US of A laminated thumbhole 3" wide for end which I will send to the stock maker to use as a pattern to make one out of walnut or tasy blackwood. The reamer is on its way from US of A and should be here shortly then the fun begins and also have to make my own dies as well.
