mudski (3rd December 2015)
I've had some time to do so thinking while driving and I'm up for a new set of tyres. I'm currently running a 265/75/16 a/t. Been thinking of going to a 33" fairly aggressive a/t or a m/t and sell the 35" and just run the one set for everything.
First thing is to find a place that can do a proper alinement. Then to decide on what tyre to run.
I don't want to go to a place and hear, your got a lift we can't do a alinement, or its a patrol you cant adjust both sides. If I need to replace or add something, that's fine. I just don't want to be bullshit!ted to.
So where should I go.

Can anyone recommend a good tyre place that knows what they're doing.

What seems to be the problem John?

Due for tyres and I might sell the 35s and just run one set. I want the tyres to perform well off-road and still have life on the black stuff.
Biggest issue I have atm is to find a shop that can do a proper alinement.
Would rather go to somewhere recommend.

Pro axle in campbellfield is where i go. As for tyres, i would recommend the BFG muddies. They arent noisy, awesome off road and last long on the black top.

Yeah x 2. Very happy with the km2s. Can't go wrong as an all rounder i reckon, plus haven't had a puncture yet and seem to be wearing pretty good. Done bout 20,0000 and still look good as new.
