One of us needs to get our own hoist one of these days...LMAO
A hoist is very high on my wish list AB, my next house will be on an acre or more and i will be building a shed with a wall height to allow for a hoist. They are relatively cheap on ebay for a 240v one. wouldn't mind a 4 poster.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Check out the placement of the brass brake tubes though = Be bloody careful with that angle grinder.

Didn't need that bit of steel anyways.
I had to do the same... What sh!ts me is I wasn't told to cut off a section of the bump stop bottom plate when i bought the bigger bore shocks

Yeah its a No Brainer isn't it??? ........ "hey mate, thanks for buying these great shocks, heads up mate, you have to cut the bump stop plate off or they will hit and dent your new shiny shocks!" ===> "Lots of my customers have had this problem cause i have been selling these for ages, this is how you fix it!"

    Yeah Cheers for that!!

Cheers J, glad you like the build mate, have a good look around mate, there is HEAPS in these 18 odd pages.

    Good on ya.

Hey Aussie, thanks for checking out my build mate, yes it is the same bloke but i am happy with the deal that he gave me on the new parts. No way he made money on them and he stood up straight away when i called him. Unfortunately my build took a long time and then i have not driven the thing much since it was finished...had allot on. So it has definitely been more than 3 years since i spent the cash originally.

    Hey Fletch,

Cheers mate, i am really happy wit the flex shots too. have not driven the car since that day as the wife is very ready to drop her bundle so i have to stay close to home. Also the guys that i would normally have driven with went and bought Zuks while i built my GQ and do different driving now.

I have a couple of guys lined up for some decent driving when i get some time though, keen to get back into the Wombat soon for another crack at that hill in the videos with the new shocks to see if i lift the wheels as much this time. Will post the vids for comparison when i doo for sure.

    Cheers MR.
