Ok so after this exhaust is done, in a few days this with the EGR will be my first piece of work. Now, I have had few people tell me to remove this thing, including Rocket here whos has positive results from it... Some others have told me do not touch it as it'll mess with the boost big time...I also removed the butterfly from the housing in the red circle, don't know what you call it.
Between this and the EGR block, made it rev much freer and boost earlier.
Now what exactly does this thing do... ??? Manual just says "Throttle body." Even though I will remove it anyway. Just curious what exactly does it do ??
@ Rocket - how exactly did you remove it / what was the process ?

I reckon Eric there will be just two screws holding the butterfly plate on the shaft. Inside the unit. Undo the screws and remove said plate.
