The panel fits nicely on the roof bars and leaves room for my double swag, other than a high lift jack and shovel I've never actually carried anything up there so its not really an issue. I may swap out to a smaller panel sometime and put this one in the camper, but for now it will go nicely with the Ctek charger I put in a couple of weeks ago.

The 200 Watts is on the high side, but I want to be able to camp for a week+ with the fridge, lighting, and amateur radio going without worrying about power... I think it will do that providing I don't get carried away on the radio.

Now to mount it. I need to find some channel nuts to suite the Rhino Pro Bar's, those and some angle iron should do nicely.

Of course my plan to carry a jerry can or two on the roof will need to be revised...

    Cheers

yeh i had to donsize as i have a tracklander rack and rooftop tent but the smaller panel runs the fridge 24/7 in the patrol so its all good and still not much room up there to spare

Finally got the tie rod ends, steering rod ends and panhard bushes I had bought on the car ready for a wheel alignment tomorrow morning.

One of the tie rod ends was a pain to get out, had a tool for it but resorted to a bigger hammer. Bit of bark missing too, oops.

Panhard OEM rubber needed a press to remove and replace, but it is done and ready to go.

So... the steering should be all nice and tight now. All the other bushed front and rear have been replaced in the last 6 months.

    See how it drives tomorrow.
    Cheers

What started out as just straightening bent bull bar, turning into- bull bar off, tidied, straightened, painted, new winch fitted, radiator out and steam cleaned, fan thingy off , steam clean other radiator thingy, extend winch wires. Hopefully get it all back together today.
