I also have mud map 2 but would be reluctant to recommend it unless you buy their maps as well.
I have imported maps that work 100% on ozi exp but when run on mm2 location accuracy was out by about 200mt so I think that is the datum but you can't change it. But the entered waypoints were accurate.
Entering waypoints is a bit hit and miss as you need to enter the position in the format it likes
But positions are accurate on map.
Trying to get online help is a waste of time also
The included maps were very accurate when we crossed the Simpson and a recent trip to coffs
So using the supplied maps is the way to go.
I'm using it on an iPhone and ipad so not sure if that has anything to do with it
Overall I find ozi explorer a better package that allows me to do a lot more, but doesn't have a apple version. though it's easier if you do your planning on the desktop version then import routes and waypoints to your device.
You still have to buy/have good maps to make the most of any mapping platform.
