Bought a couple of volt meters from eBay.

The batteries are connected as a bank by their own CB. If one of the CB's opens I have no way of knowing.

Simple solution is individual volt meters, any difference is indicative of a problem
    .
Except they read different. I am fussy about this sort of thing.

Seller is just that and no help.

That will be pretty difficult to set up using single contact C/Bs.
If the batteries are in parallel, whatever fault condition trips one CB will trip both anyway.
Can you mount the C/B's so you can see the trip indicator?

You could try connecting only 1 meter with the meter +ve on one battery +ve and the meter -ve on the other battery +ve
If both CB's are closed the meter should read 0.0x.
If a C/B opens the voltage will drift from zeroish as the battery terminal voltages change.
-ve voltage if one CB opens, +ve if it is the other
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

I thought that but can not see one, they are panel mount so the PC components are all exposed.

These meters need the voltage they are measuring to make them work, they are 7.5 - 20 volt meters so 7.5 is the minimum needed.

If have have the right end of the pineapple, that means zero to 7.5 volts is no screen???

In the situation of both CB's tripping the accessories wont be working, so I think that is covered???

Went to the stealership, got some more coolant and another towbar plug-in harness, as my old one isn't in a good way at the moment.
