seeing my shed is a an Alladins cave for bits and pieces,, shame to clean it up really,, I came across
some insulation that they use in Boeing aircraft to insulate the aircraft from extreme heat and cold.
I'll get my mate to stitch up a sleeve to fit over SS keg, happy with that find.
Cool drinking water on a hot day,,, priceless lol

Ive picked up my keg with the 1 1/4" SS socket Tigged welded on.
Now just waiting for more SS fittings to arrive from OS to finish it off.
Very thin material but all good in the end.

Now I need to figure out how to secure it safely in the back of the Patrol.
It could stand upright behind the driver seat, will have to see.
20 litres of clean drinking water on tap gotta be happy with that.
Spewing I buggered the other one up getting the bung out, will check if I can salvage it at a later date

I like building /reusing items for camp. ATM I'm sorting out my gear so I can travel as light as possible.
Unfortunate it hissed down last fishing trip but even then I've culled more gear.

I always took gear for 4 ppl but no more, the others can fend for themselves next trip.
Even made my own camp oven but thats nearly ledgendary lol heavy but memorable

Nearly at the one slab and a can of baked beans ATM lol

Don’t you dare give up on the camp oven(s), the roasts out of them are legendary.

Taken a while for some fittings to arrive but it will be finished next week
even thinking of putting an air valve on it to pressurised a tad.
The tap is similar to the old style lockable water tank tap 3/4"
The filler is from a boat deck fill, should be a perfect fit imo
Happy camper so far, should not have accidents with that tap style
Melb. Co. too not OS both items

this is the mob they do foot valves and check valves as well , pricey are ok too
Chose that style tap so it couldn't be knocked on accidentally
I went for a 3/4 tap to get better flow than a 1/2" one
Good thing I like about it is I can take it anywhere to fill,
I don't have to bring the hose to it I take it to the hose./river whatever

Has any one have one of those water bladders that go in to the rear quarter panel and would they, or do they create condensation on the out side of the bladder whilst it`s full of water?
