I found out this week I was successful in my interviews and application for a graduate position, now just waiting on getting an actual job location offer. No more uni and hopefully in the new year start full time..... Means more love (money) to give to the patrol.

I have finally trained the woodswallow that is nesting in my shed. She used to fly off her nest at the slightest noise and wouldn't return until we had left the yard.

Now she just pops her head up for a look-see, and only escapes if I get too close. She returns within minutes, too.

The pair of woodswallows kept trying to build a nest behind all of my gear. I kicked them out, a few times, hoping they would find some other place.

After a while I gave up and mounted a cheap bucket for them to build their nest in.

On the down side, I can't build anything in there, until they have gone.

And all of the eggs have hatched.
