Yeah, especially when I have a diesel power steering pump, a Zd30 airbox, dts crossover pipe, 3 td42 cranks, td42t block and cam, silver top block and flywheel all on the shelf.

He is better off saving his coin because no mater which way he goes unless he buys a complete TD42T and is happy with that it never works out cheap LOL

With out the compensated pump won't it nullify any fuel savings as you are just putting more diesel through all the time?
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

Yes this is the question johnny has asked... I have never seen it done so don't think you could use the TB airbox... Not enough room.
Hey johnny boy, with this TD conversion you will be able to put a proper battery under the bonnet as an aux

I couldn't use anything from my engine except if I wanted to modify the bell housing or the power steering pump but it was easier to get TD42 ones. You also need the Diesel radiator & hoses & different heater hoses & clutch fan.

I would go with the compensated pump because if you want to run descent boost it allows more fuel for the engine & you can run a better tune.

Not really with an NA pump they can only really supply so much fuel and even with a standard gu turbo they it will be just enough.

No but at the moment he has a very limited budget and needs advice accordingly. Trust me if he wanted a td with the sweetest drive ability and ball tearing torque I would be giving him advice that wouldn't leave him change from 20k. Or I would tell him not to bother and duramax it .
