Here is my fuel figures for the trip. Andy Darren and I filled up at the same place each time and Andy always put about 2L more than me and Darren's was a bit more than that with the 35s (and a lead foot haha)
I am very happy with those figures being fully loaded.

    How's that headwind...22 litres!!!

I'm happy with those figures with a full load, both tanks full, roof rack and tyre on roof...headwind was a killer at the start!!!

That head wind was bullshit... we had to sit on 90km/h to keep temps under control because we were working our cars so much harder than usual.

I want to especially thank my 2nd best friend, Zach (MudrunnerJR). He was the only kid (besides AB) for most of the trip and he was so well behaved and kept himself amused the whole time. The trip would not have been the same without him calling me a wanker and telling AB to get a big black one up ya... bwahaha! Good on you Zach, you are a very lucky boy to have your Dad take you all around ouback Australia on swag trips like he does. How many other kids have done the Simpson Desert twice before they are 10?

Send my condolences to all you travellers suffering from post trip syndrome. I feel your pain.

Only way to ease your suffering is to share loads of photos and stories of your escapades, dish a little dirt and break rule number one!

    We are here for you....
    Cheers
    Macca

I made a big mistake this trip and that was not bringing a spare air filter. My air filter was so clogged it was disgusting and I was majorly down on power on the home stretch.

I have told you guys before about that.... at least take it out and clean?

Thanks so much Winnie for posting up those fuel consumption notes... that is a great help for me.

    Which app is that?
