    Ok I spoke to my mate tonight about the xr400, it's 2001 model with rec reg, new piston and rings, had the suspension done front and rear, renthal bars, gripper seat UFO headlights and more. He wants $3000 but would take $2800. He lives in mornington in Vic

    If I had the cash if buy that xr

    Can't beat an xr for reliability

    I currently have a crf at home which I sold my previous xr to buy. A lot of the time I wish I didn't. Although I do like the extra power just not the extra maintenance etc

    Come to think of it I've had most of the xr models over the years. Xr80, xr100, xr200, xr250 xr400

    My other choice would be a drz400e or dr650
    NEVER USE A SNATCH STRAP ON A TOW BALL AS DEATH MAY RESULT
