    Gday Clunk,

I will post some picks tomorrow. The barrier itself fits very well.

The bottom fixing points were no worries. Just had to drill a couple of holes in the bottom strap to suit the couple of threaded holes that are already there.

The top one is only temporarily secured to the top grab handle screw hole for the rear row of seats (if they were there) at the moment. Just need to come up with something a bit more secure, but should not be to hard.

It needs to leak a little bit to keep the bag moist so that when you are driving along the rushing air over the bag evaporates the moisture, in so cooling the bag and water inside, the same principle as an evaporative air conditioner.

    Maytown!

Packed it and put the muddies on for a trip today into the Palmer River goldfields area, and out via the Mailman's Coach Road (aka Maytown Track!) with a mate in his Landrover Defender. He only has a set of Continental AT tyres on, so it will be interesting to see how it goes on all the steep rocks.

Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.

Greased up my nipples, replaced water pump and cleaned 30 years of dirt and oil off the head and block. Also discovered an alarming grinding sound when turning hard to the right, it continues for a short while even after the turn! Fack
