    Picked up an X17 Fiskar for $50 on Ebay, this will go in the camper along with the X7 tomahawk
    The X25 will stay at home now

    That's a pretty bloody good price for an x17. I have the x25 too and a smaller axe would be ideal, I might see what x17 prices I can find.

    You'll find the Gerber is priced lower than Fiskar, mine was cheap as guy used it on a big log 6 times{green} and failed.

    Everyone who has tried my Fiskars loves it, except for a couple of old blokes who are set in their ways and think they're too light but the wood they were trying to split was green as... haha

    I'd love to have a go at a few dry logs with the 36" fiskar.
    Chalk and cheese IMO you can split a heap of wood with a Fiskar that's for sure, with little effort
    I think Megatexture is against them, he bent one from memory
