6ish during the week and anywhere from 4-10 on weekends.
But wake up the same regardless. Its as the day goes on I feel shot if ive only had around 4-5 hours.

Anywhere from 5 to 7 hours for me, though if I go for a week straight with 5's I am pretty cactus by the weekend.
Daylight savings has stuffed my internal clock this year and waking up at 4am instead o 5am and not getting back to sleep sux
Seemed like a good idea at the time

Gee it looks like for the most part 7 hours is the norm..... Oh and Andy ya poor little princess there are many dads on here and we have all been through the joys of a new born and no sleep so get over yourself!!!!
I think what makes the sleep thing a pain is the boy comes into our bed every morning (between 4.30-6.30 ) and he just takes up to much room and I dont get back to sleep properly.... little bugger!!

Feck! I've got my second win by then and am up until around 12-1am. But I am working on the pc until 11pm most nights. so then I need some time to wind down, Then get up around 7:30am most mornings. If I go to bed early I just lie there until around 1am so I might awsell stay up. My eldest now 10 never had a full nights sleep until she was 4 1/2. She would wake up every hour and it would take us half an hour to get back to sleep. The second kid, a bomb wouldn't wake her up...
I run best on 8hrs and like Winnie try to be in bed around 10pm. I'm normally up at 10 to six in the morning. I probably average 7-8 hrs most nights.
I used to be a bit if a night owl but the best thing I did was shift my day around so I'm up early. Gives me a chance to get some exercise done in the morning which pumps me up for the day ahead really well.

7 to 10 hrs for me. I go to bed when I am tired and wake up at bladder o'clock, go back to bed and try for another hour or so.
If I have to be up early then I set the alarm. When camping it is usually in bed a bit after 9 and up by 6, so about 8 1/2 hours. If on the piss with the boys then in bed by pissed o'clock and up when some turd makes enough noise to wake me.
Big advantage I have is I'm well and truly retired, so work is a long forgotten commitment, down side of retirement is I am now an oldphart (:
