    My GU tourer.

Hey guys, fairly new to the forum, but loving it so far.
This is my gu tourer. Couldn't decide if I wanted to build a tuff truck or a tourer so I went somewhere what I think is in the middle of both. It has an ls1, 5 inch lift, reduction gears, 4.6 diff ratios and other mods as you can see from photos. Love getting away a doing some wheeling, camping and fishing when ever I can.

Like most of us.... Our cars are never finished. Hopefully install lockers in front and rear soon.

    Digger.

Awesome looking rig. I take it you're a tall person to reach those rear windows...

    Thanks guys.
This drawer system has been great when touring as I have everything in its right place and things don't bounce around at all. Hot water, fridge, air and stove are all built in and permanently live in the car.

Like all of us our cars are never finished.... Hopefully install some lockers soon and maybe a roof rack

Ps: who does a real nice 4" stainless snorkel???

You wanna go threw the 1/4 like a traditional snorkel or threw the bonnet?

Can't remember who does what but a search will bring em up..

A few questions about the details.
Guessing you guys don't tour with kids?
Also what size water tank are you sporting, and where is it located.

I like the gas tank idea. I currently have mine strapped to the cargo barrier when out.

We just had a member do a gull wing build thread, feel free to tack yours on under it, I see some differences and be goo to weigh up pro and cons.

And finally lol. What are those sections either side of the draws for? Access points or house something?

Millweld do mate, and have a look on their website one at the recessed snorkel... Little expensive but it looks so good

Love the Patrol. Looks great. I'm currently trying to get my patrol to look something like yours. Do you need an engineers certificate to pass with the height and tyres.
