on board air setup?

g'day gents, i am looking to put an on board air system in and was wondering could anyone could help me out with a setup diagram. i have a Mean Mother compressor with gator clips and i just bought one of those tigers 11 9l tank that comes with very limited fiittings and basically no instructions. i am aware that i will need a pressure cut off switch and i would also so like an in cab switch. any info regarding bits needed will be great. this set is to air up my tyres which are only standard 265/75/16 and run a big f@rkoff train horn....

I am now ditching that set up in favour of an endless air set up...

I have diagrams somewhere I did when I made my set up... see if I can find them.
This is from 04off, he did me this diagram when I was building my set up.

You'll need an air manifold with a one way valve near your compressor.
You should be able to run air tools with what you have in mind.
Pic is of manifold you need not the fittings.
System is no good without the non return valve

Here an example of whats required ,the non return valve goes inline with the manifold.

Edit:::::: Use Nitto fittings as well they flow more air than the Jambro brass ones.
Plus most ppl use them so your gear can be shared and vice versa

but its able to support a diff lock.

Where is everyone mounting these big compressors and air reservoir tanks? I'm keen on fitting one, if I can find the room.

BenK you mount the tanks onto the chassis near the sills the smaller ones fit great
Compressor can go in the engine bay but be aware if it has a thermal cut out, it wont work if hot.
Others have fitted them in the 1/4 panel check members like janderson for his build thread
I have a few ideas and one is mounting the tank on the cargo barrier.

There is really no need to waste valuable cargo area for something that will be quite happy in the elements by rough calculations my tanks is 25 litres.
