I broke a alternator belt just out of traralgon. Thankfully Drew had a belt that was perfect for a quick fix.
Gotta say a HUGE thanks to all the blokes this weekend. Everyone made me feel welcomed and part of the group from the start. Can't ask for much more than that.
Gotta love how everyone cracks in when there are problems. I will let those fill in others on fll details.
I got some great footage on the go-pro which I will try get up tomorrow. Few pics on the phone too which will be up in the morning.

Yep. Was a bloody awesome trip. Unfortunately for me I had to cut the trip a night short. Yesty arvo I lost all clutch pressure, and also have this horrible grinding noise coming from somewhere under the bonnet on the turbo side. Not loosing boost, car still goes like it always had so I'm assuming its not the turbo. I'll have to clean the car today and hopefully find and fix the issue before work on Tuesday. I could have stayed last night, Roofy nearly convinced me to stay but at least I have sort of a head start in cleaning so I can get under the Troll and find this issue. One major draw back of having a Patrol that is also your work car...

This maybe your gearbox issue you wrote about not long ago.
Would be interested in what it is hopefully not too painful.
Know what you mean about a daily driver, you do limit yourself to how hard you go,
and where you take it, that's for sure

was a frosty night stars everywhere and chattering teeth
in between drinks was great to catch up with the guys sitting
around the horizontal fire while the wind blew but was great
when it dropped off

A big thanks to MudRunner, he had the exhaust jack under there in no time and matfew who had the wheels changed quick a you like! Like a bloody precision pitstop.....
