Hi All,

Central locking (keyless) is fairly sims to install as its stand-alone with a bunch of servos to make doors open & close.
Alarm can be a little more trouble as it will hook into the ignition, lights etc and has switches that activate on bonnet, boot etc. depending on which ones you go for.
If you can use a multimeter, test light, read a basic wiring diagram & find wires in a loom you shouldn't have too many dramas.
Start on a Saturday morning & you should be done by mid arvo.
Take ya time, measure twice & solder ya joins.
There are several brands & range from $50 upward.
06 GU IV Nissan Patrol wagon 3.0L, Tough Dog 2" lift, Xrox bar, 12k Mako winch, 33" muddies, 3" exhaust, Awning, UHF, drawers & fridge, custom sliders, DVDs, custom water tank and pump, rack etc etc.
Now just in - GQ Shorty 4.2 petrol, UHF - but looking at turbo or V8 conversion

I've been looking at a Mongoose M80/M60 series as it comes with a delayed switch off facility (turbo timer), remote locking and various alarm sensor circuits all in the one unit. It appears to be reasonably straight forward to install according to documentation supplied on the Mongoose website.
Ive just brought a Mongoose M80/M60 series Alarm with the Turbo timer, Now to install,
Looks hectic under this dash.!![]()
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!
Check out my Toy --> MudRunnerTD's GQ From the Ground Up
The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Just a matter of picking the right wire. Can get most of them from this plug behind your glove box
