George took my car for a drive today and is leaning towards the uni's being stuffed, am going to fit the one off the donor car to see if this solves the problem.
Driving me mad... oh and I may being doing my clutch again as I was a tight ass and bought a cheap clutch and now it seems to have some issues? should look at warranty??
Uni's will give a humming sound plus vibration of course
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Yeah cheers I will go down that path but I need to concentrate and getting all the other stuff fixed??
I almost have the gearbox out of my donor car and I think it has had a much easier life than mine and I will also put a real clutch in not the cheap shit one I did the first time.
I also have most of the front axle out and will build that with my Lokka if it ever fricking turns up?
I need the car to be in good reliable nick and the last trip pushed some of the parts on my car over the edge.
Really was worth its weight buying the donor car.
mate having a Donor car is a winner mate. especially if they have the same engine too! i was keen as to buy a donor GQ TD42 but they are ridiculously expensive apparently damn it!
so i will try an swap out all the weak crap on the GQ with quality and tough GU stuff![]()
