So my chassis rail is completely stuffed including everywhere the tow set up connects from what I can see is it needs the last 600mm of chassis chopped so I'm now at a hault just doing a big clean to have a look

I am now 100% convinced that you wagon has spent a fair chunk of its life in a coal. the only times I have seen rust like that in a GU was ex coal.

Someone must've been using this rig as a towing vehicle for boats, and has dunked the rear end in the drink a lot, and never washed it. what welder will you be using, Healy?
