Righto Steveo time for mums taxi to get back on the road

For about 20 yrs ive had a torrie at my place, and mumstaxi is by far the best, most reliable and fastest car ive ever had, and i can honestly say, ive had more fun in that car over the years than anything else ive ever owned.

But to be honest, the way the things are now in QLD, and now after rebuilding the troll (it has taken such a huge toll on me and the family), plus the stupid prices torries are fetching, im seriously concidering just selling mumstaxi for the driveline/parts

Ok so got my alloys and 33s on this week, went up to bribie for the day, very happy with how the KM2s went in the sand.


Remembered to take the camera this time, had to think about how to use it its been that long

We decided to take the car over to North Stradbroke Island for a holiday, id managed to get my cargo barrier sorted, and just get my 33 spare on the back door, and also just got the main two Lightforce spotlights fitted, it took me ages to hook em up, because i wanted them wired through the car alarm to hopefully prevent theft.

So anyway, on the car ferry , we are sitting in our car (on the ferry) as the ferry moved off, the people from the car in front of us (a old ute) had left their car, and gone to the cafe upstairs on the ferry.

But.....the stupid driver of the ute in front, forgot to put his handbrake on, so as the ferry (a powerfull twin hull cat) put the power on as it got into open water, his loaded car came crashing back at a fair pace, right into the front of the troll, and sat there wedged against my spotlights and bullbar FFS !




Knowing if i moved my car back, the ute would just roll back further, i had little option but to leave it resting on the front of the car, the mrs offered to go looking for the owner, i accepted her offer, knowing my words would most likley not be fitting to be blurted out in a busy cafe with kids around etc.


When the old guy (ute owner) turned up i kept cool, he opologised and moved his car forward, and Lucky there was no damage i could see to my car, the spotlights took it well, and just needed a bit of re-alinment, a person could have easily been standing in front of the car and got crushed, so i appreciate how much worse this situation could have been, so just let it go..... but OMFG !
