Ok , i got knocked back on my first inspection, the inspector said i had done a really nice job on the car, (and commented on how nice the paint was), but they could not read the VIN number, the one stamped into the chassis.(too much black anti-beach stuff.lol)


Had to sand blast the VIN number on the chassis so it could be read (well seen at all really), big thanks to Bigrig (Scotty) who used his sand blaster to get it visible.

Then a quick re-vist so the inspector could check the VIN number and all passed, so i finally got it registered yesterday !





Still got a few things to do to 100% finish the car, but regestration is still quite a bit of a milestone for me really

Took a trip up to Bribie Island today, car went quite well, was great to get out


Saw this unfortunate car stranded in a odd position.......









No one around, looked quite recent going by the belongings still with the car, it was also very obvious the tide had been in on it at least once.

Thanks guys, the car looked great out on the beach under the sun, turned a few heads i think (i probly shudda got some pics eh?)

Onboard Compressor system worked well, pumped all 4 tyres (32s) from 20psi back to about 42psi, in about 5 min 30sec, was hassle free, and didn't annoy me waiting at all, worth all the effort
