This has turned into a very creative and amusing thread, so thanks guys. It was getting way too serious wasn't it!
At least the story's consistent, which means we should really be offering some creative thinking course for the poor little bugger. Maybe a free copy of Tolkien or SoG (that's the MoF's contribution).
But my question is, why do they all say the vehicle's in the Darwin? Surely Karumba or Bing Bong would be much more authentic and believable, or Roswell for that matter.
